ForGoodHealthLoss of Hearing-Loss of IndependenceHearing loss is a sudden or gradual decrease in how well you can hear. It is one of the most common condi-tions affecting senior adults. Approximately one in three people between the ages of 65 and 74 has hearing loss and nearly half of those older than 75 have difficulty hearing. Having trouble hearing can make it hard to understand and follow a doctor’s advice, to respond to warnings, and to hear doorbells and alarms. It can also make it hard to enjoy talking with friends and family. All of this can be frustrating, embarrassing, and even dangerous. Join your Good Neighbor Friends for a hear-ing seminar and screening, John Tongen, AuD, Clinical Director with Professional Hearing Services will be speaking on the topic of “Loss of Hearing-Loss of Inde-pendence” on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 from 11:30 - 2:00 at the Kelly Inn, Bismarck.
