How to Sign in to your Student Email

Signing in to your Student Email is rather straight forward.

This is where you type your email address.

This is where you type your password.

Then you click 'Sign in' to open your 'Inbox' page (see page 2)

An example for an email address would be:

How to read anUnread Email

After signing in you come to this page:

This is your ‘Inbox’.

To read an email you simply left-click on the email

you would like to read.

The message then appears on the right hand panel.

How to send aNew Email

Like signing in to your Student Email, sending a new Email is straight forward.

To begin with, you simply click new.

This page then ‘Pops-Up’.

This is where you type the name of the person you

are sending an Email to.

This is where you type the ‘Subject’, which means what

the Email is about.

This is where you type your message.

Then you click 'Send' to send the Email.

How to Forward an Email

To forward an Email is to send an Email you got to somebody else.

Firstly you 'right-click' on the Email.

You click 'Forward'

This page 'pops-up'

Like sending an Email, you

type the name of who

you are sending it to here.

You can type a message if

you wish.

Then you click 'Send'.

How to read an Attachment

To read an attachment you quite simply click the Email (see Page 1) and click the Attachment.

This then 'pops-up'.

Click 'Open' and the attachment will open.

If you would like to save the attachment then you click 'Save'

and save it like an 'Ordinary Document'.

How to Sendan Attachment

To send an Attachment means to send a Document or Picture with an Email.

You type the name of the person

you are sending the Email to here.

There does not have to be a subject.

To attach a file you simply click

the paper clip.

This page 'Pops-up'.

Next you click 'Browse...'

Then you select a file from your documents.

How to Deletean Email

Deleting an Email means to 'Get rid of it'.

First you need to click on the Email you want to delete and click the delete option along

the top.

And the email just disappears.

Its as simple as that!!!

How to use theAddress Book

Click on the little book next to the search bar.

This 'Pops-up'.

Type the name of the person you are sending the Email to here and click on the magnifying glass.

The name of the person and their email should appear here.

Double-Click[G]

on their name and this page 'Pops-Up.

Then click their name and send the email.

Signing out is Important because if you leave it on anybody can read your Emails.

To sign out you simply click 'Sign Out', in the top right-hand corner of the page.

You come back to where you started...Signing In

AND LAST BUT BY NO MEANS LEAST......Safety Measures

You must remember to NEVER tell anybody your password because they can read your emails.

You must NOT read an email that is not off anybody you know as this is most likely to be Spam [G].
