Swami Dayanand Saraswati, born in 1824 at Tankara (Gujrat) was a man of unique courage, daring spirits, exemplary character, a great scholar in his field of specialization and above all a revolutionary who lived for truth as he understood it and died for his convictions. He was a true statesman who made a substantial contribution to the making of modern India. He prepared the ground for a relentless struggle against British imperial domination and gave a meaningful blueprint for free India's

reconstruction. He created an immortal book namely "SATYARTH PRAKASH" which is regarded as his magnum opus. He was the great torchbearer of Indian Renaissance of 19th century. Education, according to him, is the main potent tool for bringing about national reconstruction and eradication of social evils like

untouchability, economic inequality and superstitions. He believed that no nation could build its edifice on a foreign

foundation. He, therefore, gave a clarion call to his countrymen to go back to the Vedas, and lay their foundation on them. He founded the Arya Samaj

in the year 1875. The Arya Samaj included all and sundry irrespective of caste, creed and religion, provided they adhered to the ten principles of Arya Samaj.

In today's day and age where schools have sprung up in every nook and corner or alley of the country, all making tall claims to trap the unsuspecting parents, the best way to choose a school for your child is to personally see it for yourself. DAV Centenary Public School, Jind, since its inception in the year 1988, has been providing a safe and intellectually challenging environment with its holistic, progressive, quality-conscious and value oriented approach to empower students to become innovative thinkers and creative problem solvers. The learners are here prepared to be the best of 21st Century. We believe that every child is born talented and it's our duty to improve and beautify it. True to its name, it effectively blends the most modern and latest educational trends with the time-tested vedic values and thereby, produces confident, competent and accountable future citizens- the citizens who possess originality of thoughts and take pride in their culture and heritage. At D.A.V., we reaffirm our commitment to impart such education by which character is formed, strength of mind is increased, the intellect is expanded, and by which one can stand on one's own feet. Our school students have the tradition of pursuing excellence in both academic and nonacademic fields, organised at Zonal, State and National Level.

Besides imparting good education, our aim is enriched in the Vedic philosophy i.e.“TO LEAD FROM DARKNESS TO LIGHT.” All efforts are made to achieve this goal. We, as an Institution, act as a role model in the society. Here we take teaching as a mission, not a profession. The importance of instilling good values in our students is our prime objective. Educational institutions impart learning, but it's our prayer that our students go out into the world with strength not only to reach and excel in their professional aspirations, but to remain beautiful human beings. We shall constantly safeguard and nurture the sensitive human being in every child , involving ourselves in and keeping ahead in this nation building enterprise involving all stake holders effectively and uniformly in our endeavour. In nutshell, on the behalf of my school management and staff, I assure you the best of our care attention and parental affection

“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”
