This is a very special year for The Royal Windsor Horse Show. Seventy five years ago, the Windsor Horse &Dog Show came into existence to support the War effort. Its sole intent was to raise money to build Spitfiresand Hurricanes, during Wings For Victory week. The half day show proved so popular King George VI becameits first Patron. Our current Patron, Her Majesty The Queen, has not missed one show since 1943 and won thePrivate Driving Class at the first event.

Although there have been significant changes to the competition format, this is still an event that celebratesour grass roots and encourages equestrian diversity. Britain’s largest horse show is truly an internationalevent, with CSI-5* Jumping and the Rolex Grand Prix with prize money of €300,000, the Al Shira’aa CDI-4*Dressage, the Land Rover CAIO-4* Carriage Driving and the CEI-2* Endurance Ride in the Great Park.

The competitions will be supported by some top class equestrian entertainment including the Musical Ride ofthe Household Cavalry, the Musical Drive of The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery, the DAKS Pony ClubGames and the Land Rover Shetland Pony Grand National.

We are opening our doors again on 'Windsor Wednesday' when visitor entry is free of charge for localresidents, with only a nominal charge for those attending from further afield. Please encourage your friendsand family to come along and enjoy this unique event.

MEMBERS ENCLOSURE TICKETSMembership allows access to the Members Enclosure and Lawn as well as dedicated Members seating located

in The Queen’s Stand, adjacent to The Royal Enclosure. In the Members Enclosure there is a restaurantoffering waitress served meals as well as a deli and bar. The Enclosure is located on the north end of the

Castle Arena and the Lawn has pleasant garden-style seating with excellent views of the Arena. The MembersEnclosure is exclusively available to Full Members and their Guests.

Dress Code: In the Members Enclosure patrons are required to be smartly dressed at all times. Competitorsmay wear clean riding dress. Blue jeans or blue denim, leggings and sports trainers are not permitted.Children should also dress smartly. Gentlemen are required to wear a tailored jacket and tie. Ladies areencouraged to wear skirts, summer dresses or well-cut trousers. Fashion style trainers and converse styleshoes are allowed. Please be aware that the dress code is enforced within the Members Enclosure.

ONLINE ENTRY SYSTEMEntries for British Showjumping classes (which will be balloted) will open on 6th March and close on 13th March.Entries for all other national classes will open on March 7th, and will close at 5.00pm on March 29th. Entries will be taken through My Riding Life (www.myridinglife.com). It is recommended that you createand/or update your account before entries open, to ensure the entry process is quick and easy for you. The organisers reserve the right to refuse an entry for any given reason or ballot any class that becomesoversubscribed.

OWNERS’ PASSES – HOW THE NEW E-TICKET SYSTEM WILL WORKWhen you have completed your entry online, you will receive an email from My Riding Life confirming thatyour entry has been received. After entries have closed, you will then receive a second email, prior to 13thApril, from the Entries team which will include your e-tickets that you must print and bring with you togain access. Further additional wristlets may be purchased at Victoria Bridge for £24 per person per day(under 5’s free).There will be an administration charge of £3.75 applicable to all entries.

STABLINGStabling will be available in a field adjacent to the Showground. THE STABLES CANNOT BE OCCUPIEDBEFORE 4.00P.M. ON TUESDAY, 8TH MAY, AND MUST BE VACATED BY 10.00A.M. ON MONDAY, 14TH MAY.Stabling will not be provided for Owners’ horses unless, at the time of entry, written application is made inthe appropriate space provided on the entry form, and the fees paid. A charge of £68.50 per night is made foreach loose box. Stables are available from 6.00pm on the day booked until 5.00pm the following day.Owners are asked to bring their own forage, as no fodder will be available. Please note that all boxes will bemade up with shavings only. Extra bedding may be purchased if ordered and paid for in advance on the entryform. The stable fee of a horse entered but not sent to the Show will be forfeited. PLEASE NOTE THAT ONLYCOMPETITORS STAYING FOR THE DURATION OF THE SHOW WILL BE ALLOWED TO PARK AND LEAVE THEIRHORSEBOXES NEAR THE STABLING AREA. CARAVANS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED.

EQUINE INFLUENZA VACCINATION CERTIFICATESAll horses and ponies entering the Showground must be vaccinated, and vaccination certificates / passportsmust accompany the horse or pony to the Show, and be available for checking.

Horses competing at FEI Events must comply with the requirements for Equine Influenza vaccination inaccordance with the Veterinary Regulations and as summarised below.

All horses / ponies taking part in competitions / displays other than those governed by the Rules of the FEImust have certificates of vaccination against Equine Influenza complying with the above.

PROTECTIVE HEADGEARProtective headgear should be worn by anybody riding a horse / pony for any reason in accordance with theGoverning Body to which the class is affiliated to. However, it is strongly recommended that hats to thecurrent standard; PAS 015 (1998 or 2011) or VG1 01.040 (2014-12) with BSI Kitemark or Inspec IC Mark ; ASTMF1163 2004 or 04a onwards with correct SEI mark; SNELL E2001 or E2016 with official SNELL label andnumber; AS/NZS 3838 2006 onwards with SAI Global mark, correctly fastened, should be worn in all riddenclasses. All National Jumping Competitions will be held in accordance with the Rules and Regulations of BritishShowjumping, 2018 and the Rules, Regulations and Conditions of The Royal Windsor Horse Show 2018. Inparticular, your attention is drawn to Clause 26 in the Conditions of Royal Windsor Horse Show.

Phase 1 - Over a course of approximately nine fences, none of which will exceed 1.05m. No rider may ridemore than one horse. There will be 2 sections in this phase; Mounted (restricted to Military Working HorsesOnly) and Non-Mounted (Open section). Teams will jump in the order of the draw, as printed in the Catalogue.Mounted and Non-Mounted sections will be drawn separately. This year the running order for the first roundhas changed. Teams will run in drawn order with all three riders jumping their respective rounds one afterthe other. If a competitor is eliminated this will not eliminate the team, but the competitor will be awardedthe worst score, in the phase concerned, with 20 faults added. Twelve riders will be nominated for Phase 2 (the jump off), made of one rider from the top 6 teams in eachsection. The selection process will only change if it is deemed by the committee that a team does not have asuitable rider to compete in phase 2. Phase 2 – The order for the jump off will be decided by descending order of faults accumulated from Phase 1:Highest Faults rides first. The total faults in both phases will determine the final placing’s. In the event of atie in total faults from both phases for any one place, the time of the nominated rider in Phase 2 will decide.

These classes are held under the rules of the British Show Horse Association. Horses must be registered withthe Association and all Owners, Exhibitors and Riders must be Association Members. Riders must be 15 yearsof age or older. Registration numbers must be quoted on entry form. Classes 77, 78 and 79 are qualifiers for the Royal International Horse Show. The first prize-winner will qualifyto compete at the final. If already qualified the second will qualify, if the first and second are alreadyqualified then the third will go forward. Horses competing at the RIHS and qualifying shows in Hunter sections of The Sport Horse Breeding of GreatBritain at their Affiliated Shows cannot compete in Hack, Cobs and Riding Horse classes at the same show, onthe same day and vice versa. Class 149 The Champagne Laurent Perrier Meet of the British Driving SocietyThis class is held under the rules of the British Driving Society, and is limited to British Driving Societymembers only.There will be a show drive of approximately three and a half miles and all exhibitors will receive acommemorative rosette. Collect at approximately 9.00am and depart for drive.

The essence of this class is the word “elegance” and the winner will be the turnout, which, in the opinion ofthe Judge, presents the most elegant effect. Attention may well be paid to drivers’ and passengers’ personalcostume but fancy dress or period costume is definitely barred. The whole object of the class is to establishwhich turnout presents the most pleasing picture and normal judging criteria does not apply. It is judgedfrom a distance and vehicles are not closely inspected.A private driving vehicle is a carriage that is designed and manufactured to resemble, as faithfully as possible,a vehicle built to the design of a carriage builder prior to the First World War, in the style and methods ofthose times. Its construction may, however, include modern materials, but its overall appearance must reflectthe original styling and profile, including leaf springing. Carriage lamps should be carried. Metal wheels, discbrakes, pneumatic tyred vehicles, show wagons and trade vehicles are barred.Entries forward on the day may be refused if, in the opinion of the BDS Steward appointed, turnouts areunsafe or unsuitable to proceed on the drive, or carriages are not of a traditional type. Whips should becarried, passengers must wear hats and gloves and use driving aprons or knee rugs, passengers who join thedrive outside the collecting ring must also abide by the conditions regarding hats and gloves. These classes are held under the rules of the British Show Horse Association. Horses must be registered withthe Association and all Owners, Exhibitors and Riders must be Association Members. Riders must be 15 yearsof age or older. Registration numbers must be quoted on entry form. Classes 103 and 104 are qualifiers for the Royal International Horse Show. AMATEUR HUNTER CLASSES

A person is an amateur for showing purposes, when showing ridden hunters in an amateur class, if he orshe does not:1) Engage in livery, buying, selling, dealing or hiring horses as a means of deriving a main source of income.Since 1st January 2016.2)Accept remuneration whether it be monetary or goods in kind for employment in connection with horses ina racing, showing or livery stable or riding school (instruction at Pony Club and Riding Club excepted). Since1st January 2016. 3)Show a horse owned or sponsored by a company or commercial firm, or a horse for which his or herimmediate family accepts livery or training charges from a person outside the immediate concern. Since 1stJanuary 2016.4) Show a horse which a professional rider has ridden in any ridden hunter or ridden sport horse class duringthe current year, with the exception of working hunter classes and ladies’ hunter classes unless the horse hassubsequently been re-registered under new ownership.5) Professional show persons must not enter the Amateur Ring whilst the classes are in progress. Rules. Grade A Show-jumpers and Advanced Event horses are not eligible to compete in these Classes. Anyhorse which has qualified as a Grade A Show Jumper or Advanced Event Horse as at 1st January in the currentyear is not eligible to compete in Working Hunter classes. The maximum total points available is 100. This is made up of: Jumping points = Max 40 points, Style &Presence whilst Jumping = Max 20 points, Ride/Manners = Max 20 points, Conformation = max 20 points. Fences to be a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 12 in number and a maximum height of 1.14m (3ft 9ins) atthe discretion of the Judges. Fences should have a natural appearance and not be easily dislodged. No un-numbered obstacle can be included in the course. The manner of going to be taken into account. No changeof rider or tack will be allowed (unless a horse is ridden under side-saddle, in which case, in order to allow theJudge to ride, the saddle may be changed for the riding phase only).A rider can ride up to two horses in the jumping phase but then must select only one horse to take forwardinto the ride and conformation section if so required (no change of rider is allowed). A skull cap or hat andsafety harness according to the current approved BSI or European Standard must be worn by ALL competitorsin the jumping phase of Working Hunter Classes. Skull caps must have a navy blue or black cover. No hindboots or bandages of any description are allowed in the collecting ring, warm up or in the actual class. Oncompletion of the jumping phase all clear rounds and any other horses the Judges may require should beasked to return to the ring.If a horse positively stops, ceases to go forwards at any time during its jumping round, or turns its quarters toa fence, or has a complete turnaround these constitute refusals. If a horse jumps the incorrect fence out of apen or lane it will be eliminated. Horses displaying continued disobedience, or horses leaving the ringwhether mounted or dismounted will be eliminated. Horses with minus scores may not be required for thesecond phase of the class at the discretion of the Judge. CONDITIONS

DECISIONS1. The Decision of the Committee or the Veterinary Surgeons or of any Judges or Show Officials upon any

of the matters required by the following Rules to be decided or directed by any such persons or bodiesincluding any question of height or soundness or want of merit or exclusion from final judging orgranting any permission or otherwise shall be final and binding in all respects and no objections shallbe made on account thereof nor shall any appeal lie therefrom on any ground whatever.

ENTRIES2. The Committee will adhere as closely as possible to the published Schedule and Catalogue, but reserve

the right in their absolute discretion to put forward or alter any class without notice, if they find itexpedient to do so, and the right to refuse any entry, to accept any entry conditionally, and cancel anyclass through lack of entries or for any other reason, in their absolute discretion. In addition, theOrganisers have the right to refuse an entry for any reason whatsoever or ballot any class that isoversubscribed.The Committee reserve the right without assigning any reason to alter the times of any Classes, or tojudge Classes in Judging Rings other than those specified in the order of judging, or to make suchalterations, including conditions of entry, as may be deemed necessary.Owners must be bona fide owners on 29th March, 2018, of the horses which they enter, and such Owner’sname will appear in the Show Catalogue. The Owner alone will be recognised as being entitled to anymoney prizes which may be won by the entries made by him.No entry will be accepted unless accompanied by the entry fee. Entries must be made online or on theprinted Entry Form obtainable from the Royal Windsor Horse Show, The Royal Mews, Windsor Castle, andmust be fully completed and signed by the Owner. No horse will be entered until such entry forms arereceived and the fees paid. Unless the Entry Form is correctly completed the entries are null and voidand the entry fees will be forfeited.Any exhibitor whose cheque is not cleared through the banking system will incur a £40 surcharge,payable before entries can be acceptedBritish Showjumping classes (which will be balloted) close on 13th March, 2018. All other entries close on 29th March, 2018.Online entries are available at www.rwhs.co.uk. Online Entry System: Entries for British Showjumping classes will open on March 6th, entries for allother national classes will open on March 7th. Entries for British Showjumping classes will close on13th March. All other entries will close on March 29th.Entries will be taken through My Riding Life (www.myridinglife.com). It is recommended that you createand/or update your account before entries open, to ensure the entry process is quick and easy for you.The organisers reserve the right to refuse an entry for any given reason or ballot any class that becomesoversubscribed. Entries are always subject to any unforeseen circumstances, such as military exigencies, strikes, or othercivil disturbances, fire or other contingencies of any description preventing or rendering it undesirable inthe opinion of the Committee for the Show to be held or continued as the case may be, and theCommittee may postpone or abandon the Show at their discretion. All entries stand for any postponedshow unless withdrawn by written notice to the Secretary within one week of notification of publicannouncement in the press of such postponement. The postponement or abandonment of the Showeither before the opening or at any time during the course of the Show shall not give rise to any claimwhatsoever against the Royal Windsor Horse Show or the Committee by Owners, Competitors or othersexcept for refund of prepaid entry fees over £52.50 in respect of classes or competitions not held, or aproportionate part of such fees according to circumstances; in the case of postponement refund willonly be made in respect of entries duly withdrawn.Failure to exhibit any animal entered will entail forfeiture of entry and stable fees to the Show and norefund will be made in any circumstances. The Docking and Nicking of Horses Act 1949 will be strictly complied with.

CLAIMS3. The Owner of any horse which shall cause or occasion any damage or injury whatever shall indemnify

and hold harmless the Show from and against all legal proceedings, actions, expenses, costs, claims,demands or damages whatsoever arising from any accident or other incident which may occur, andrepair any injury which may be so occasioned. Each Owner shall be solely responsible for anyconsequential or other loss, injury or damage done to, or occasioned by, or arising from any animalexhibited by him, and for the description as given in the Catalogue; and shall indemnify and holdharmless the Royal Windsor Horse Show in respect thereof as aforesaid.Neither the Show nor any of its officers or servants shall be in any way responsible or accountable foranything that might happen from any cause or circumstances whatsoever to any persons, or Owners, ortheir servants, or to any animal or article exhibited, or property brought into the Show Ground and theadjoining Home Park, Windsor, or otherwise for anything else in connection with, or arising out of, orattributable to the Show, or these or any other conditions or regulations prescribed by the Show inrelation thereto. Every Owner must have at least one servant in charge of the horse or horses orproperty exhibited by him.The forgoing conditions shall expressly apply to all horses and those in charge of them at Stables let byor through the Show.CARS AND VEHICLES. Vehicles are permitted on the showground, car and horse box parks ONLY ATOWNERS’ RISK. No responsibility is accepted for cars or other vehicles and / or their contents left in theOfficial Car Park, or elsewhere, before, during, or after the Show, at any time. Maximum permitted speedis 10mph. All drivers to obey the instructions of security staff, car park attendants, stewards and otherofficials.

OBJECTIONS4. Any objection or protest shall be lodged by obtaining a printed “Objection Form” from the Secretary’s

Office on the Show Ground, which must be properly filled up and signed by the Objector and deliveredto the Secretary before or within thirty minutes of the end of the judging of the Class in respect of whichthe objection is lodged.DEPOSIT (a) Objections (regarding height) to any animal holding an Official Measurement Certificateissued under the Joint Measurement Scheme will be referred to the Joint Measurement Scheme of theBritish Horse Society, British Show Horse Association, British Showjumping, National Pony Society andthe British Show Pony Society, and Owners so objecting must deposit the sum of £160, which will bealso forwarded with the objection.(b) Any Owner lodging any objection for any other reason must deposit the sum of £160. If the objectionis sustained the deposit of £160 will be refunded, otherwise the deposit will be forfeited.

5. A Sub-Committee of the Committee of the Show has been formed to consider and deal with allobjections and it is a further express condition of entry that the decision of this Sub-Committee shall beabsolutely final and binding on all competitors or others interested in any capacity on the Show Ground.The Committee shall consist of the Chairman, C M Brooks Esq, S D B Garner Esq, J Doney Esq, F SmeetsEsq and R Sugrue Esq. A sufficient quorum of the Committee shall be three.

CUPS AND CHALLENGE CUPS6. (a) Prize-winners in every class eligible for Championship Classes and winners of prizes for Challenge

Cups must compete for such Cups or they will forfeit their class prize money.(b) Because of the unique and irreplaceable nature of many of the Royal Windsor Horse Show’s cups andtrophies, the Committee have reluctantly decided that winners of cups and trophies will not bepermitted to take them from the showground.

CHILD’S CERTIFICATE OF AGE7. In any class in which there is an age restriction the name, address and date of birth of the Child Rider

must be stated on the Entry Form before an entry will be accepted, and the Parent or Guardian must, ifrequired, produce to the Secretary a certified copy of the entry of birth within seven days of the date ofsuch requirement.

HEIGHT8. Recognised Official Measurement Certificates, issued under the Joint Measurement Scheme of the British

Horse Society, British Show Horse Association, British Showjumping, National Pony Society and theBritish Show Pony Society only must be produced if required. All horses must be properly shod except for in-hand classes.A false declaration or misstatement of any kind (including a change of names of an animal or incorrectdescription, or false declaration of prizes won at Horse Shows) may at the discretion of the Committeedisqualify an Owner from the Show and the animal entered from any prize, and from entering or beingentered again at the Royal Windsor Horse Show. In particular a misstatement as to height willautomatically render the animal entered ineligible for any judging or prize. Owners must be prepared toverify any statement in a manner required by the Committee.

DISQUALIFICATION9. In the case of an animal being disqualified whether as a result of any objection or otherwise, the winner

of the next succeeding prize in that class shall take the prize that has been awarded to such disqualifiedanimal, and the other animals shall take prizes accordingly, and the lowest monied prize in the classshall be taken by the reserve number.

ROSETTES10. Rosettes will be awarded to first, second, third, fourth and fifth prize-winners in each class and where a

sixth prize is offered a sixth rosette will also be awarded. In Championship classes rosettes will beawarded to the Champion and Reserve Champion.

CLASS11. No alterations or substitutions of an entry will be allowed after it has been received. Entries must

therefore be made in the appropriate class or classes for which the animals entered are eligible. In caseof doubt as to the eligibility of any animal for any particular class or classes, entries may be made inmore than one class on paying the fee for each class, and the animal will be judged in any class orclasses for which it may be found to be eligible, but no refund of entry fees will be made.A horse entered in a wrong class will be excluded from competition and the entry fee forfeited but atthe discretion of the Judges any horse over the specified weight may be directed to another class.Owners may remove their animals from the Show Ground after judging of the classes in which they areentered, unless eligible for Championship Classes.The number of animals which shall be asked to give an individual show in any class and the number ofhorses a Judge shall ride shall be left entirely to the discretion of the Judges.

ASSEMBLY12. Competitors must assemble in the Pre-Collecting Ring at least half an hour before the appointed time at

which they are to be judged or paraded as advertised in the Catalogue. Competitors arriving in the Pre-Collecting Ring after their Class has entered the Arena / Ring will be disqualified.

CHILDREN’S RIDING CLASSES13. The wearing and use of spurs is forbidden.

NUMBERS14. An animal entered in more than one class will have only one numbered card, which must be used each

time the horse is shown. Competitors wearing an incorrect number or more than one number in theRing are liable to disqualification.Number cards to be worn on the rider’s or attendant’s back. In Driving Classes the number must beaffixed on the back of the vehicle when the Horse enters the ring.

OWNERS’ PASSES15. Three passes will be issued for the first horse / pony entered. Competitors with more than one horse /

pony will then be issued with an additional three passes per horse / pony.Each entry will receive one Horse Box pass and one Owners Car Pass. Additional car park passes can bepurchased on the entry form – one per entry.There will be an administration charge of £3.75 applicable to all entries.

DRESS16. In the Hackney Classes: Gentlemen drivers must appear in appropriate dress or uniform. No stable dress

is allowed.In the Hunter and Jumping Classes: Gentlemen riders must be in uniform, or hunting costume. Ladiesside-saddle: In riding habit with hat. Ladies astride: In jacket, hat, breeches and boots.In the Hack and Cob Classes: Gentlemen riders must be in uniform or appropriate hacking costume - silkhat or bowler hat, breeches and boots or riding trousers. Ladies side-saddle: In riding habit with hat.Ladies astride: In jacket, hat, breeches and boots.In the Children’s Riding Classes: boys and girls must appear in appropriate riding dress with hats.In “In Hand” classes, or classes where grooms or attendants are permitted to enter the ring duringPreliminary or Final judging they must be correctly dressed. Headwear, coats, collars and ties must be worn.These regulations apply to Day and Evening Sessions.Protective headgear should be worn by anybody riding a horse / pony for any reason in accordance withthe Governing Body to which the class is affiliated to. However, it is strongly recommended that hats tothe current standard; PAS 015 (1998 or 2011) or VG1 01.040 (2014-12) with BSI Kitemark or Inspec ICMark ; ASTM F1163 2004 or 04a onwards with correct SEI mark; SNELL E2001 or E2016 with officialSNELL label and number; AS/NZS 3838 2006 onwards with SAI Global mark, correctly fastened, shouldbe worn in all ridden classes. This includes all Judges who may be required to ride and all grooms etcriding outside the show rings.

POWER TO APPOINT OTHER JUDGES17. The Judges named in the Schedule have accepted an invitation to officiate. The Committee reserves the

right to appoint a substitute Judge.

POWER TO WITHHOLD OR DIVIDE PRIZES18. The Judges have the power to withhold any prize, either from want of merit in the horse exhibited or

from insufficiency of competition in the classes, or to divide a prize, or to judge two sections of acompetition as one class.

VETERINARY EXAMINATION19. The Judges of every class shall have power to require any animal to be examined for soundness by the

Veterinary Surgeons. The result of any veterinary examinations shall be regarded as confidential.Unsoundness, notwithstanding an award of prizes, will disqualify, except in the Jumping Competition.It is the responsibility of Owners of horses / ponies based in the United Kingdom to settle directly withthe Show’s veterinary surgeons any veterinary costs incurred while a horse / pony or horses / ponies intheir ownership are on the Showground if, for any veterinary or animal welfare reasons, a horse isdeclared unfit to travel. Any owner who fails to settle a veterinary account and / or other related costswill be excluded from future entry to the Royal Windsor Horse Show.

Where, in the opinion of the Show’s veterinary surgeon, a horse is so severely injured that it ought to behumanely destroyed, the owner / trainer / rider / driver should, wherever possible, first be informed.However, the Show’s veterinary surgeon may proceed with humane destruction, without reference toowner / trainer / rider / driver, in order to prevent undue suffering to the horse. Before taking this actionthe Show’s Veterinary Surgeon should, wherever practicable, seek a second veterinary opinion. In sucheventuality, owners are responsible for the cost of disposal.

POWER TO REJECT OR REMOVE21. The Committee reserve the power to reject or remove any horse, Owner or servant from the Show, or to

refuse admission, without being required to assign any reason or being liable for compensation.

NO ADMISSION TO SHOW RING22. Only Officials appointed by the Committee (other than Competitors) shall at any time be allowed to

enter the Show Ring.Exercising in any of the Rings is strictly prohibited and anyone found exercising in any Ring will bedisqualified from competing at the Show and any prize money already won will be forfeited.Handlers / grooms / attendants entering the ring to be 16 years of age or over.Dress Code – see Condition no 16.

AMATEUR AWARDS23. Professional whips, or those dealing in, or anyone buying or selling horses on commission, are not

eligible for these awards. Exhibitors who are eligible must state the name of the driver on the entryform.

QUESTIONS NOT PROVIDED FOR24. Should any question arise not provided for in these Conditions it must be referred to the Committee,

whose decision shall be final.

PRIZE MONEY25. Cheques for the prizes awarded will be forwarded by post to the Owners within six weeks of the Show.

An Owner will be deemed to have waived his prize money in favour of the Show if he has not presentedhis cheque by 31st August 2018, after which date payment of the cheques will be stopped.Should there only be eight entries or less forward in a class, prize money will only be awarded down tothird place.Would overseas competitors please note than any payments (including prize money and prizes in kind)made in excess of £1,000 are subject to taxation at source.

JUMPING CLASSES26. During the Jumping Competition three competitors must always be ready to enter the ring. If a

Competitor does not respond when his number is called by the Steward he loses his turn and the horsebearing the number may be eliminated.Unless Competitors declare by the correct time they will not be allowed to jump.

INSURANCES27. All owners and competitors are responsible for damages to third parties howsoever caused by

themselves, their employees, their agents or their horses. It is a condition of entry that all owners andcompetitors have third-party insurance providing full coverage for participation in equestrian events, andto keep the policy up to date.

ALL TERRAIN VEHICLES AND MOTORCYCLES28. Please note that ATV’s (all terrain vehicles) and motorcycles will not be allowed on the showground due

to Health & Safety Regulations.

HAWKERS29. No hawkers are allowed onto the showground including the car and horse box parks. No goods,

newspapers etc may be sold or advertised anywhere on the showground except within the authorisedtrade stands.

PHOTOGRAPHY30. No professional photography is allowed on the showground except with permission obtained from the

Press Office.

31. Here at Windsor Equestrian Promotions Ltd (organisers of Royal Windsor Horse Show) we take yourprivacy seriously. Your personal information, including details of this transaction, your name, address,email address and telephone number will be held securely and will only be used to administer youraccount, and will be sent to any relevant society for registration confirmation if necessary. As part ofthis transaction, each entry will be published in the Show Programme. Your data will not be released tothird parties.
