Tate (79893) reported a memo at 5017 Rossville Blvd. Police were called to the Brew & Cue for a possible disorder involving a weapon. Officers arrived on scene and were not able to find any disorder. Mr. Robbins stated his neighbor's garage door was repeatedly opening and causing a loud noise inhibiting him from sleeping. Mr. Robbins lead me to the garage door and I observed it repeatedly opening and closing. I attempted to locate the resident multiple times however was unable to make contact. In order to cease the noise and to secure the residence, I activated the release leaver on the garage door. No further at this time. 2655 Glass St 20-097876 9/27/2020 5:20:00AM 290 Vandalism/DV On 09/27/2020 at 05:30 hours, Officer M. Dagostino (82257) responded to a Vandalism at 2655 Glass St. I made contact with Devine Clark who reported he was inside the house asleep and could hear a noise coming from behind the house and could see a person in the back ally by his vehicle. Mr. Clark believes this person was his ex-girlfriend Ashley Caylo slashing the tires of his vehicle (Ford Taurus TN: ).     On 09/27/2020 at approximately 02:10 hours, Officer M Estock (82259) reported a Noise Complaint at 315 Lindsay St. Upon arrival I made contact with Mr. Jacob Robbins. Mr. Robbins stated his neighbor's garage door was repeatedly opening and causing a loudnoise inhibiting him from sleeping. Mr. Robbins lead me to the garage door and I observed it repeatedly opening and closing. I attempted to locate the resident multiple times however was unable to make contact. In order to cease the noise and to secure the residence, I activated the release leaver on the garage door.

    On 09/27/2020 at 05:30 hours, Officer M. Dagostino (82257) responded to a Vandalism at 2655 Glass St. I made contact with Devine Clark who reported he was inside the house asleep and could hear a noise coming from behind the house and could see a person in the back ally by his vehicle. Mr. Clark believes this person was his ex-girlfriend Ashley Caylo slashing the tires of his vehicle (Ford Taurus TN: ). Both front tires to Mr. Clark's vehicle were deflated with puncture holes in the side walls. Mr. Clark reported no other damage to his vehicle. Mr. Clark valued both tires at $400.     On 09/27/2020 at 08:15 hours, Officer Cabrera (80757) responded to a Theft from Motor Vehicle at 7122 Lee Hwy.

    I spoke to a Mr. Andrew Newlun. He had his van parked in front of the church entrance when it was broken into. He showed me security footage of the incident. It happened at approximately 0120 hours this morning. It shows a w/m wearing khaki shorts and a black hat climb into his side window. The suspect took his Ipad Mini 3 ($250), Motorola Z3 cellphone ($200), a Canon 6D camera ($800), and a DJI Maverick drone camera ($700), and also his wallet with his American Express credit card. The suspect has already made multiple online purchases using the American Express card approximately $2500. I will be forwarding this to fraud and auto theft. There is nothing further at this time.

    On 09/27/2020 at 08:33 hours, Officer Moser (60250) responded to a possible theft/suspicious person call at the Speedway gas station located at 7420 Bonny Oaks Dr. I spoke to the clerk who stated he wanted 2 homeless males trespassed from the business and told them in front of Police.

    I spoke to W/M Matthew Ramsey and Jonathon Sanchez who stated that they did not steal anything and did not have anything on them or in their bags that matched what the clerk thought they stole.

    Both parties left the area without incident.

    On 09/27/2020 at 10:40 hours, Officer Veloz (75390) responded to a Theft from Motor Vehicle at 5873 Lake Resort Ter. Upon arrival to the scene, I spoke with Kristina Williams. Ms. Williams informed me that her vehicle was broken into sometime during the night. There was no damage to the vehicle but the suspects did get into it and stole a handbag that had a computer inside of it. The bag also contained some classified documents that is provided to Ms. Williams through her company she works for. No suspect info at this time.

    On 09/27/2020 at 11:00 hours, Officer Orsburn (66495) responded to a Vehicle Recovered Stolen Outside of Chattanooga at 3515 Ridgevale Ave. A white Hyundai Elantra was found abandoned in the roadway with TN Tag . The vehicle came back stolen out of Cheatham County. William West the owner of the vehicle was notified and told that First Response Towing would be towing the vehicle to their lot. Cheatham County took the vehicle out of NCIC. No further.

    On 09/27/2020 at 13:10 hours, Officer Thomas (78350) responded to a MVT/Passenger Vehicle at 2717 Rossville Blvd. Police spoke with Jeffery House who stated that he went inside of the apartment and left the car running with the doors unlocked. He stated that an unknown male got inside of his vehicle and left towards 4th ave. Jeffery Stated that he followed the vehicle towards Hooker Rd where he then turned around and came back to the Hamilton Inn. Mr. House described his vehicle as a 2005 Ford Crown VIc, with 26' chrome rims, with a dual black racing stripe down the middle, and with a sticker in the top right window in the back. The Vehicle was entered into NCIC as stolen with NIC/V762321664 being the number used in the system. A BOLO was sent out city wide. Nothing further at this time.

    On 09/27/2020 at 15:15 hours, Officer Simpson (83694) responded to a Shoplifting at 4860 Hixson Pike. Upon arrival, police met with Ms. Darby. She showed video footage of two black females coming into the store and storing merchandise in their purse before walking out and getting clothing off of the outdoor rack without paying. The suspects then got into a white Kia Forte and fled the scene. While attempting to leave, the suspects backed into a truck that was parked behind them and then left northbound on Hixson Pk. No further police action was required.

    On 09/27/2020 at 15:50 hours, Officer D. Bryant (79858) reported a memo at 975 E 3rd St. Police received a call about a woman sitting in the middle of the street with a robe on. Upon arrival police made contact with Candace Sullivon who stated she wanted to go back home and didnt have anywhere to go. Sullivon stated she was flown from GA to TN by helicopter and now doesn't have a way back home. Police transported Sullivon to the Partnership. No further.

    On 09/27/2020 at 15:38 hours, Officer Gross (84850) reported a suspicious party at 7013 Shallowford Rd. During routine patrol olice viewed Anthony Gibby who is a known local homeless party, Mr. Gibby was walking in the Quality Inn parking lot. Police verified the identity of Mr. Gibby. Police viewed a portable George Foreman grill that Mr. Gibby was carrying, Mr. Gibby stated to police that he was giving the grill to a friend of his by the name "Terry" who he believed stayed at the Quality Inn in room 263. Mr. Gibby stated that the grill had been legally obtained and was attempting to help out his friend who had fallen on hard times. Police searched the hotel for room 263 but hotel staff stated to police that room did not exist. Mr. Gibby requested to leave the grill behind the front desk for Mr. Terry to pick up a later time. Hotel staff took possession of the George Foreman Grill. Mr. Anthony then left the hotel property without incident. Nothing further at this time.

    On 09/27/2020 at 16:30 hours, Officer Luke Simon 971 responded to a Property Lost at 501 Signal Mountain Rd (Walmart). Upon arrival, I made contact with the complainant who stated while in Walmart, she placed her black purse on a shelf and forgot it. The complainant stated when she returned, the purse was gone. No footage was able to be viewed due to loss prevention not being on scene.

    On 09/27/2020 at 17:35 hours, Officer Oliver (912) responded to a Property Found at 114 E 14th St. Upon arrival, officers identified the complainant as a Mr. Elliot Stahl (employee of The Crash Pad). Mr. Stahl explained that he was walking in the parking lot when he noticed a camouflaged rifle bag ($50) sitting in the grass. Officers observed the bag to not be containing a rifle but found multiple shell casings and two live rounds. Officers also found the bag to be containing miscellaneous cleaning supplies. Officers transported the found property to CPD's property division. No further.

    On 09/29/2020 at 22:00 hours, Officer Christopher Liberto (79560) wrote a continuation/supplement for a MVT/Passenger Vehicle at 1506 E 48th St. Upon arrival, I observed the vehicle (VIN #1FMZU63E81ZA78475) parked in the alley with the driver side door open and the key in the vehicle. Through dispatch, we were able to identify this vehicle as stolen. United Towing took the vehicle since we were not able to get in touch with the vehicle owner. Nothing further.

    On 09/27/2020 at 20:45 hours, Officer Ampthor (73492) reported a suspicious activity at 3400 2nd Ave. Police noticed a running vehicle parked on west side of 2nd Ave. Upon investigation police located Ms. Myers inside the vehicle asleep. Police woke Ms. Myers who stated she was staying across the street with a friend. Ms. Myers had been to the store and just fallen asleep once shegot to the house. Ms. Myers arose and headed inside. No further police action was needed at this time.

    On 09/28/2020 at 15:16 hours, Officer N. Gurnsey (79875) conducted a Follow Up at 6393 Lee Hwy to view or obtain video of this incident. Upon arrival Police made contact with Dr. Nikki Branam, hospital administrator. Ms. Branam allowed Police to observe security footage from the parking lot of 6393 Lee Hwy at 2101 hours. In the video Mr. Manning can be seen engaged in a physical altercation with a smaller male party, identified by animal hospital personnel as his son. Mr. Manning's son's name is still unknown at the time of this report. Inv Graffe Car 328 was notified and will be conducting further follow ups.

    On 09/28/2020 at 00:00 hours, Officer Z. Tate (79893) reported a memo at 3649 Tanaka Trl. An unknown male party called into 911 stated that his girlfriend messaged him on facebook stating that she needed police at the above address. I arrived on scene at the above address and found two sisters, Victoria and Ashely Hester in a disorder. Both parties stated that the disorder was due to both of them "fooling around" with the same guy. Ashely stated that she would find somewhere else to stay for the night and left thearea. No further.

    On 09/28/2020 at approximately 01:14 hours, Officer M Estock (82259) reported a memo at 414 Lindsay St. Prior to my arrival, dispatch informed me an anonymous complainant called in stating approximately 30 minutes prior to calling a sound of glass breaking could be heard. Dispatch informed me a door knob to the apartment complex was broken according to complainant.

    Upon arrival I observed a door knob to the complex was broken off. I patrolled on foot all floors of the complex and did not hear or observe any disorderly conduct. Other than the door knob, I did not observe any further property damage.

    I spoke with a patron in the hallway who stated they've been in the location since 2230 and did not hear or witness any disorders prior to my arrival.

    I was unable to make contact with any victims wishing to report property damage.

    On 09/28/2020 at approximately 01:23 hours, Officer M Estock (82259) responded to a verbal disorder at 434 Chestnut St. Upon arrival I made contact with Ms. Renika Cooper, on-duty manager of the Holiday Inn. Ms. Cooper stated three black females had been actively riding up and down the elevator and being making impolite statements to her ever time they passed by her.

    Ms. Cooper pointed one of the females out to me as she walked by. I made contact with her and she identified herself as Ms. Jenea Lancaster. Ms. Lancaster led me to her room mates who identified themselves as Ms. Egypt Phillips and Ms. Xaveria Gunn.

    Ms. Gunn informed me she this whole incident slipped over from earlier in the day. Ms. Gunn stated she believed the hotel valet wrecked her car. Ms. Gunn stated another officer from earlier in the day responded and informed her a report could not be made until security footage could be reviewed the following morning. Ms. Gunn stated she was frustrated and would be willing to apologize for any disrespectfulness she may have displayed to Ms. Cooper.

    When I made contact with Ms. Cooper a second time, she informed me she would like them to leave. I informed Ms. Cooper that Ms. Gunn was willing to apologize for being disrespectful and is willing to act appropriately for the remainder of the evening if she and her friends are permitted to remain. Ms. Cooper stated she would be fine with that option.

    Ms. Gunn did apologize to Ms. Cooper and informed Ms. Cooper and myself she would no longer act in a disrespectful or disorderly manner.

    I contacted dispatch and verified with them the case number referencing Ms. Gunn's crash is 20-098151 and was closed with no report.

Mrs. Townsend stated she just got out of silverdale and waiting for daylight to start walking toward the bus station. Mrs. Townsend stated she stays out at the community kitchen. Mrs. Townsend chose to find another place to lay down for the night. Nothing further.

    On 09/27/2020 at 23:11 hours, Officer D. Johnston (83688) reported a memo at 702 E 11th St. While on a call at this location, I witnessed Mr. Micah Warren and Mr. Daniel Mason ( ) at this address. This location/building has physical barriers and no trespassing signs on it. I told both parties to leave and that they would be arrested for trespassing if I were to locate them on the property again. Nothing further at this time.

    On 09/28/2020 at approximately 04:26 hours, Officer M Estock (82259) reported suspicious activity 334 Market St. Upon arrival I made contact with complainant, Ms. Mahala Kirkpatrick, who is a manager for Hair of the Dog. Ms. Kirkpatrick stated Mr. Essie had walked up to the window of her business and proceeded to stare at her and "hump" the glass. Ms. Kirkpatrick stated Mr. Essie made her uncomfortable and wished for him to vacate the area before she attempted to leave the business.

    I made contact with Mr. Essie who stated he was just passing through, however does sleep behind the business. I informed Mr. Essie the business was private property and he could not be sleeping at this location. I instructed Mr. Essie to leave the location.

    Mr. Essie vacated the area without incident.

    On 09/28/2020 at 09:34 hours, PIT McMahan (61444) responded to a Theft from Motor Vehicle at 1414 Continental Dr at the victim's home. The victim said that she left her vehicle parked at home yesterday at about 4 pm and she's not sure if it was locked. The vehicle stayed there overnight and just now, she discovered that the Glovebox and Console were open and her Tom Tom GPSunit was taken. She said there was no damage from forced entry. This report was taken by phone.

    On 09/28/2020 at 10:25 hours I, Officer King (78347), responded to a Vandalism at 2156 Camden Oaks Dr. Upon arrival I spoke to the complainant, Ms. Elizabeth Taylor. Ms. Taylor stated that she believes her brother, Mr. Ronald Taylor damaged the front door into her apartment. She stated that he showed yesterday when she was not at home and called asking to get in. She stated that she told him that she would be there later and she would let him in. She was later told that Mr. Taylor told others that he was not going to wait for her so he used his shoulder to open the door. She stated that Mr. Taylor stays there with her on and off and has some personal items at the house. She stated that she did not want to prosecute for the vandalism. No further Police action was taken.

    On 09/28/2020 at 10:50 hours, Officer Smith, Zachary (77584) responded to a Wire Fraud at 4538 58 Hwy. I took a report of fraud via phone call. Upon speaking with complainant Jeff Haley, he stated an unknown suspect had used his social security number to open a separate account and transfer over $12,000 out of his account. Mr. Haley stated the incident happened sometime in the last 3-4 weeks. He further stated he had been in contact with the fraud division with Regions Bank and they were requiring a Police report. The bank had no information on the suspect since the account was created online. Nothing follows at this time.

    On 09/28/2020 at 12:38 hours, Officer J. Waltero (79887) responded to a vandalism at 271 Northgate Mall Dr. I spoke to mall security, Steffan Corey.

    Mr. Corey stated they discovered some damage above the TJ Max store, above the manager’s office. Mr. Corey further stated there was a spray paint of "BLT" next to an intentional cut on the roof. Mr. Corey stated they do not have estimated damage value at this time.

    On 09/28/2020 at 13:06 hours, Officer W.D. Johnson (66987) responded to a Property Lost at 250 Water St. I Officer Johnson #836 spoke to Mrs. Mary Jones via phone. Mrs. Jones informed me that she lost her wallet, but is not sure exactly where she lost it. Mrs. Jones stated that she went to a pawn EZ Pawn a Pawn shop located at 3601 Rossville Blvd and when she went to buy items she could not find her wallet. Mrs. Jones went into the parking lot and did not find it, and she went back home and was unable to find her wallet. Mrs. Jones does not believe that her wallet was stolen. Mrs. Jones concern is that her wallet may get into the wrong hands and it has personal information in her wallet; such as license, medical card, and birth certificate. Also she had about 70 in cash in it.

    On 09/28/2020 at 13:12 hours, Officer J. Waltero (79887) responded to a theft from vehicle at 5213 Tanner Ave. I spoke to Haley Hurst over the phone.

    Ms. Hurst stated sometime between 2300 hours on 9/27/2020 and 1200 hours on 9/28/2020, someone got into her Nissan Altima and stole her wallet. Ms. Hurst stated her SS card, GA ID, First Tennessee debit card and her bank account number were in the wallet. Ms. Hurst stated the vehicle was unlocked.

    On 09/28/2020 at 13:32 hours, PIT McMahan (61444) responded to a Other Theft/Non-Specific at 700 Mansion Cir at the Riverview Grand Apts. The complainant is the Manger at Turf Tamers, Inc (landscaping company) and he said his work crew left 2 blowers in the open bed of their work truck while there gone about 5 min doing some weedeating work. They had left the truck parked in the lot of the Apt Complex. When they got back to the truck, the blowers were gone. He said the incident happend around 1 pm because the crew called him around 1:05 pm to tell him about it. He did not have the serial numbers for the blowers at this time.     On 09/28/2020 at 14:26 hours, Officer J. Waltero (79887) responded to a theft from a vehicle at 1704 Mulberry St. I spoke to Andres Lopez over the phone.

    Mr. Lopez stated between 2130 hours on 9/27/2020 and 0900 hours on 9/28/2020, someone took his temp tag of his Honda Civic. Mr. Lopez would need a report to get a new one.

    On 09/28/2020 at 15:00 hours, Officer J. Waltero (79887) responded to a theft from vehicle at 7477 Commons Blvd. I spoke to Jared Willoughby over the phone.

    Mr. Willoughby stated sometime between 2000 hours on 9/27/2020 and 0700 hours 9/28/2020, someone went into his 07 Chevy Trailblazer and stole his Ruger LCP pistol. Mr. Willoughby did not notice any force entry and is sure he locked his vehicle. The pistol was entered into NCIC and they generated NIC #G205062691

    On 09/28/2020 at 16:10 hours, Officer Hauge (79528) responded to a Vehicle Recovered Stolen Outside of Chattanooga at 201 Timber Knoll Dr. Police were notified by the owner of the vehicle that her vehicle was stolen out of Rossville GA and now located inChattanooga. Police located the vehicle and had it removed from NCIC. the owner Ms. Jennifer then took possession and left the property

    On 09/28/2020 at 17:20 hours, Officer Gross (84850) reported a suspicious activity at 9307 Lee Hwy. Police were contacted in regards to multiple parties collecting money in the roadway for a church. Police made contact with Linda Ramsey, Glin Lebanks, and Kerri Johnson who stated that they were collecting funds for the New Life Christian Church. Police verified all involved parties identities and the parties were able to contact a church minister. No further police action required at this time.

    3415 Broad St20-098415 9/28/2020 5:00:00PM 23F Theft from Motor Vehicle

    On 09/28/2020 at 17:16 hours, Officer Coleman (79519) responded to a Theft from Motor Vehicle at 3415 Broad St. Police made contact with Vincent Vollmering who works for Samaritan’s Purse disaster relief. Mr. Vollmering stated that someone broke into an enclosed trailer that was attached to a vehicle and stole two DeWALT drills. One drill was an impact drill, and one was a hammer drill. The bottom of the drills where the battery connects has a round black sticker that says RB 429 which is the trailer number the drill belongs to. The locks of the trailer had been cut with a grinder. There were no cameras that would have caught the suspect. Nothing further to report at this time.

    On 09/28/2020 at 17:15 hours, Officer Hauge (79528) responded to a Vehicle Recovered Stolen Outside of Chattanooga at 6574 E Brainerd Rd. Police located the vehicle unoccupied. NCIC was notified and the owner was unavailable. Vehicle was towed by Airport wrecker until owner could get the vehicle.

    On 09/28/2020 at 15:17 hours, Officer Coleman (79519) responded to a Vandalism at 3415 Broad St. Police made contact with Joseph Strickler. Mr. Strickler stated that someone broke into his trailer. Mr. Strickler stated that nothing was stolen from his trailer, but the door jam had been damaged where the suspect broke open the door. No cameras were in the area to capture the suspect. Nothing further to report at this time.

    On 09/28/2020 at 18:40 hours, Officer Silveira (66499) responded to a delayed Shoplifting at 2100 Hamilton Place Blvd/ Jc Penney sotre. Upon arrival, I spoke with the manager from the loss prevention, Mr. Johnson. He reported that around 18:15Hrs of this evening, the camera surveillance system caught a black male walking out of the store with two expensive pillows. Mr. Johnson stated that the suspect did not stop at cashier to pay for the merchandise. The suspect was described as an African Male, approximately 5'7 foot tall, wearing a red sweater and dark pants. Mr. Johnson stated that after the incident, he went to the parking lot to see if he could locate the suspect, but he was gone. The total loss was approximately 360.00 dollars.

    On 09/28/2020 at 21:21 hours, Officer Christopher Liberto (79560) reported a memo at 2117 Chamberlain Ave. Upon arrival, I spoke with Ms. Christee Robinson who stated that her ex-boyfriend, Mr. Matthew Robertson, was calling her and saying that his new girlfriend would beat her up. Ms. Robinson did not block the number and did not stop talking with Mr. Robertson at this time. I instructed her to do so. Ms. Robinson stated she was going to go in the morning and get a TPO. Nothing further at this time.

    On 09/28/2020 at 21:49 hours, Officer Gross (84850) reported a verbal disorder at 6274 Artesian Cir room 207. Police spoke with complainant Travis Landry who stated that he was in a verbal altercation with his ex-wife Melia Landry. Mr. Landry stated that the altercation had not become physical, that Ms. Landry was moving out. Police then spoke with Melia Landry who stated that she was moving out and that the altercation remained verbal. Police verified both parities identities. Mr. Landry then stated that he would be willing to leave to prevent further altercation. Mr. Landry left withoutincident. No further police action required at this time.

    On 09/28/2020 at 23:21 hours, I, Ofc. Gunn 351, responded to a call of a Harassment at 3545 Whitney St. Upon arrival, I spoke with Donald Terrell and Kristy Terrell. Both stated that they had an on going problem with a neighbor that lives on the street behind Whitney St (Crompton St (They did not know the numerics)). The neighbor has been continually leaving notes on the couple's truck, front door, and mail box. The notes say that the neighbor would like Mr. and Mrs. Terrell to not park their truck in an alley waythat is close to both Mr. and Mrs. Terrell's house on Whitney St. and the neighbor's house on Crompton St. The neighbor believes that the alley is the neighbor's property, however, Mr. and Mrs. Terrell assured me that the alley belongs to the house that they are renting. They also informed me that their landlord is getting paperwork to show that the alley belongs to the Whitney St house. Their landlord called the neighbor leaving the notes and told them to stop setting foot on the property of 3545 Whitney St, and to leave Mr. and Mrs. Terrell alone. Due to feeling harassed, the couple wanted to make a police report in case more notes were left on their vehicle, door, or in their mailbox. Nothing further.

    On 09/30/2020 at 10:08 hours, Officer Kilpatrick (68405) wrote a continuation/supplement for a MVT/Passenger Vehicle at 8001 Volkswagen Dr. The vehicle was located at the 3500 block of LaSalle St. and had been backed into a shallow ditch. Mr. Moseley was notified by dispatch, at which time he responded and took possession of the vehicle. It was discovered that Ms. Moseley's TN DL had been taken from the vehicle. The Vehicle was removed from NCIC (NIC#: V732351655)

    On 09/29/2020 at 01:38 hours, Officer Gross (84850) reported a FI at 7300 Shallowford Rd (Krystal). Anonymous caller stated that there was a White Chevy truck in the drive thru with a female asleep inside. Upon arrival police made contact with Dana Scarbrough who appeared to be waking up as police approached the vehicle. Ms. Scarbrough stated that she had been working long hours at her job causing her to fall asleep. For her own safety Ms. Scarbrough called her daughter to pick her up from the location, so she did not have to drive for the rest of the night. No further.

    On 09/29/2020 at 02:15 hours, Officer Harvey,Charles (66485) reported a memo at 3904 Youngstown Rd. Police were dispatched to the above address after receiving a call from an anonymous caller stating there was a disorder at this address. On scene police spoke to Ms. Benn who stated there was no disorder and that police were not needed. Police saw or heard any signs on any disorder and Ms. Benn didn't seem to be upset in any way. BWC was worn and activated during this call for service.

    On 09/29/2020 at 06:40 hours, Officer Harvey,Charles (66485) responded to a MVT/Passenger Vehicle at 4535 Lake Haven Dr. On scene police spoke to Ms. Reel who stated her husbands car had been stolen. Ms. Reel stated she last saw the car when she parked it in the driveway when she came home for dinner on 9-28-2020 and when she awoke this morning 9-29-2020 she found the car was not in the driveway. Ms. Reel stated she believes she left the keys in the vehicle. There was no suspect information and nothing to process at the scene. The car was entered into NCIC as stolen vehicle on this date under NIC #V102323272. BWC was worn and activated during this call for service.

Ms. Harden detailed that she got up this morning headed to work and noticed that her vehicle had been entered and ransacked. No items were taken from the vehicle; nor was any damage done to the vehicle. Ms. Harden is sure that she locked her vehicle doors, and has no clue how anyone could have got in.

    On 09/29/2020 at 09:55 hours, Officer Sanchez (73514) responded to a Other Theft/Non-Specific at 4004 Rossville Blvd. Upon arrival I spoke with the complainant, Rickie Mitchell ), who explained that his cellphone was taken while he was in the gas station convenience store. Rickie stated that he set his cellphone down by the entrance as he entered the store, and left it there while he shopped. When he went to get it was gone. Rickie stated that it was an LG phone valued at approximately $70.I then spoke with the store manager, Farzana Joseph ), who explained that Rickie came into the store and that he began placing items into his pockets. When Farzana told him to put the items back he started shouting about how an unknown person took his cell phone. Rickie then began causing a scene and scaring off other customers. Farzana stated that she wants Rickie trespassed from the store. Furthermore, she stated that she never saw a cellphone, and the place that Rickie claims to have put it is not in visible to the security cameras. Rickie was told that he could not return to the store. It is unknown if anyone took Rickie's phone at this time. There is nothing further.

    On 09/29/2020 at 09:25 hours, Officer Frazier (68396) responded to a Property Found at 4900 Brainerd Rd. While investigating a separate call, police discovered that Kiara Walker's boyfriend, Demarcus Dillard, had her license in his pocket. Kiara had already left the scene and police could not get a hold to her. Police attempted to call her but came up empty. Police will attempt to get a hold of her and if not will turn her license into CPD property.

    On 09/29/2020 at 12:12 hours, I Officer King (78347), responded to Disorder at 2010 Hardy St. Upon arrival I spoke to the complainant, Ms. Cynthia Tellis. Ms. Tellis stated that she and her roommate got into an argument and she walked outside to calm down. While she was outside her roommate, Ms. Shaquala Mapp, locked the door to the house and was not letting her back in. When I arrived on the scene the door was unlocked and both parties were outside. The two were verbally arguing when I arrived so I separated the parties. After Ms. Tellis and Ms. Mapp had time to calm down they talked things out and stopped arguing. No further Police action was taken.

I Officer Johnson #836 spoke with Mr. Steven Schenk via phone who informed me that he bought a vehicle from White's Cycle located at 4917 Highway 58 Chattanooga, Tn 37416 and never received the registration sticker for it. I Officer Johnson #836 ran vin JKARFCA12LB502591 that Mr. Schenk gave to me and it came back to a vehicle in his name. Mr. Schenk said that he needed a report written to take to the DMV so he could get a registration sticker. No further action needed.

She stated right before she called police, a dark colored SUV pulled next to her mailbox and took her mail. The one thing she does know there was a baggage of miscellaneous items. Mrs. Mitchell stated her two outdoor chairs were stolen during the night as well. She does not know what time exactly they were taken, but she saw them the night before. Nothing further.

Ms. Frisbee stated that the doors were left unlocked and she did not have any suspect information at this time. Nothing further.

I was not able to locate any suspects northe stolen items at this time. No witnesses would state anything. Nothing further.

He continued, that this was the original location of the vehicle and that it was never actually stolen.

Johnston (83688) reported a memo at 1100 Carter St. Upon arrival, police made contact with Mr. Brandon Maurer, who stated he returned from a meeting at The Chattanooga Convention Center to find that his vehicle had been rummaged through. He stated he thought he had locked it and that the suspicious activity may have occurred approximately between midnight and 0100hrs. Mr. Maurer could not confirm or locate any damage or items stolen at this time. Nothing further to report.

He stated that his soon to be ex-wife, Selena Pineda, came to his room causing a disorder. But before Police arrival, Selena left the scene. Mr. Pineda no longer needed the assistance of Police.     On 10/02/2020 at 06:08 hours, Officer Adam Krystaponis (75508) wrote a continuation/supplement for a MVT/Passenger Vehicle at 3107 Colyar Dr. I responded to 615 Derby St (Orange grove Center), where a Ms. Sherry Burchard had reported a suspicious vehicle parked at the rear entrance off the 700 Block of Arlington Ave. Upon arrival, I located the vehicle unoccupied, and verified through INFO Channel and NCIC the vehicle was indeed stolen. NCIC left a voicemail with the vehicle owner, and the vehicle was towed police pickup by Expressway Towing. Dispatch removed the vehicle from NCIC.

    While no damage was evident to the vehicle, it was left unlocked, with no key present (and it was a regular keyed ignition, not a push start). Also, in the trunk was a Stihl leafblower that appeared out of place in the trunk of a luxury sedan, absent any other yard tools. I was unable to find any serial # on the leaf blower, and it remains in the vehicle's trunk.

    On 09/30/2020 at 09:23 hours, Officer J. Billingsley (79518) responded to a Property Found at 2308 Gifford St. Ian Hutcheson informed police that he discovered a license plate (TN ) in the parking lot this morning. Mr. Hutcheson informed me he reviewed survelliance video of the parking lot and, at 23:30 hours on 09/29/20, observed two unknown individuals exit a white suv, possibly chevrolet trailblazer, and remove the registration plate from the vehicle. Mr. Hutcheson informed police he then observed one of the individuals throw the license plate into the parking lot and leave the scene. The plate is registered to a maroon Ford Escape, owned by a Fiona Davis. The license plate will be taken to Chattanooga Police Department's property division. Nothing further.

    I spoke with Marina Delaney by phone. She says that sometime Saturday night, an unknown party threw a chunk of concrete through the glass of a door on the Religious Ed. Building. She says that Partnership building has security cameras that may have caught the unknown on video. She says that thus far, she has not been able to contact whoever is in charge of the cameras. She says that should there be video, she will call for an officer to respond.

    On 09/30/2020 at 10:43 hours, Officer C. Glenn (60757) responded to a Theft of Vehicle Parts/Accessories at 3506 Brainerd Rd.

    I spoke with George Morgan, owner of Morgan Motor Company, by phone. He stated that sometime during the night, an unknown party(s) came onto the property and cut the catalytic converters off of 6 of his vehicles and stole them. Mr. Morgan estimated that it will cost $600.00 per vehicle to replace the converters.

    On 09/30/2020 at 12:10 hours I, Officer King (78347), responded to Suicidal Threats incident at 3410 Amnicola Hwy. Officers were contacted by a Heather Wilson party who stated that her and her boyfriend, James Denton, were going through a breakup and he made statements about harming or killing himself. Ms. Wilson did not know where Mr. Denton was but thought he was in Chattanooga somewhere. I called Mr. Denton's number and spoke to him and he stated that he does not want to harm himself and never said that he would. He stated multiple times that he would never try to harm himself. He stated that he is in Fort Oglethorpe GA and stays at the address on his ID which is his grandmother's residence. I offered to send over local Police Officers to check on him and he stated that he did not want or need to talk to anyone. No further Police action was taken.

    On 09/30/2020 at 12:15 hours, Officer B. Martin (62436) reported a memo at 5918 Hixson Pike. Police responded to Biba's Italian Restaurant on some suspicious activity. One of the managers of the business called in to tell police that they had received a take out order from Slice. Then they received a call from a Eddie Wilkes saying the order was a fraudulent order on his credit card. I arrived on scene in an attempt to obtain the identity of the fraudulent order. Unfortunately, no one showed at the business. No further action was taken.

Mr. Dockery needed to report of illegal dumping activity on his employer's, Edith Buckston, property. He said that he has cleaned up multiple items around the property with the name and address of " ,

    . Mr. Dockery did state that he did not witness anyone personally dumping on the property or in Ms. Buckston's dumpsters on site but that he wanted to report the activity he suspects is occurring. There is nothing further to report.

    On 09/30/2020 at 14:25 hours, Officer K.Otto (1077) discovered a small camping trailer abandoned in the area of 200 Baker St. When checking the trailer I found no form of registration or identifying labels on the trailer. The trailer was parked curbside facing North in the 200 block. The trailer is described as a Trail-Lite travel trailer that has been painted all tan. After checking the trailer, it was tagged on this date as abandoned to be removed. The call was then closed with no further action taken.

    On 09/30/2020 at 15:20 hours, Officer Michael Ortiz (83692) reported a memo at 2611 Orton St. Police were originally dispatched to a prowler call. Ms. Bonds called police stating that a white male appeared to be peeking into her bedroom window. Ms. Bonds stated that this male lives at 2606 Roanoke Ave, which is behind her house. Police spoke with Josh Conn, who stated that he recently purchased the property, and was walking his property line. Ms. Bonds was under the impression that Mr. Conn was walking on her property. Mr. Conn provided police documents that showed that he was on his property. Mr. Conn will have a surveyor come and give both parties accurate property lines. No further.

When Mr. Garcia went inside the store, The unknown Male got in the car and drove it off the lot. Mr. Garcia saw the car go on 28th St and head East.     Mr. Fox stated sometime between 1900 hours on 9/28/2020 and 1200 hours on 9/30/2020, someone was on his yard and took some of the stone slabs he had on a pallet outside. Mr. Fox stated it was around $300 worth of material taken. Mr. Fox stated there were tire marks on his lawn and they appeared fresh but according to his neighbors no one noticed anything. I responded to the scene and recorded the VIN from the suspect vehicle and observed that it had the TN tag listed in the report. I did not make contact with anyone on scene.

Police made contact with Mr. Chenkus who stated that he works as a barber for the shop and that he was waiting for a ride to pick him up due to his motorcycle being broken. Police viewed a motorcycle locked in the barber shop. Police verified Mr. Chenkus identity. No further police action required at this time.

    On 09/30/2020 at 18:25 hours, Officer C. Hargraves (79876) reported a field interview at E 38th St / Central Ave. While on routine patrol in the area of Emma Wheel Homes Officer Wolff observed a black Honda Accord (drive-out tag) at Edinburgh and 49th St. The vehicle appeared to be occupied by at leas two b/m. Officer Wolff observed the vehicle all the way to Halsey St and Central Ave where the vehicle took off heading north on Central at a very high speed (Ofc Wolff observed the vehicle get airborn at one point. I, Ofc Hargraves, observed the vehicle as it passed me at Central and Workman where I took up a position behind it and activated my emergency equipment to make a traffic stop. The vehicle ignored my emergency equipment (including siren) and passed into a lane of oncoming traffic and ran the stop sign at 38th & Central traveling east on 38th.I did not pursue.At one point, I could see what looked like someone turning around in the vehicle and moving things around facing the rear of the vehicle.Possible partial tag (TN driveout tag).Nothing further.

Police spoke with the night desk manager who stated that a light skin black male ran into the lobbyscreaming that he had just been mugged and to call the cops. The manager stated that he didn't know what room the man stayed in and or his name.     On 10/01/2020 at 09:29 hours, Officer Slater (84863) responded to a MVT/Passenger Vehicle at 311 Chestnut St. Upon making contact with the RP ( Jay, Titgen ) I was informed that a rental vehicle in his belonging had been stolen. Upon investigation further into the theft, I was informed that on the previous night ( 09/30/2020 ) at roughly 2100 Hours Mr. Titgen arrived back to his hotel room with an unknown female who he had met in the downtown Chattanooga area. Mr. Titgen informed me that this female asked if she could spend some time with him until her ride came later that evening. Mr. Titgen stated that after a short time in his hotel room this unknown female left and did not return. I was informed that on the morning of 10/01/2020 at approximately 0900 Mr. Titgen left the hotel and first observed that his vehicle had been stolen.

    Upon speaking with the hotel staff I was informed that at approximately 2135 Hours this unknown female left Mr. Titgen's hotel room and walked outside to Mr. Titgen's rental vehicle, a Blue Nissan Maxima which was parked in the front of the Hilton Gardens Hotel. It was observed that this female got into Mr. Titgen's vehicle and left with it. This Vehicle is property of Enterprise Rental out of Fort Mill, South Carolina. This vehicle has been entered into NCIC as stolen on 10/01/2020 at 1028 Hours ( NIC #V412339327 ) nothing further to report at this time.

    On 10/01/2020 at 10:00 hours, PIT McMahan (61444) responded to a Theft of Vehicle Parts/Accessories at 4295 Cromwell Rd at P&E Distributors. The complainant is the manager there and he said that 2 of the company trucks were last seen at about 5 pm yesterday and they were parked on the lot there. They stayed there overnight and at around 3:30 am, it was discovered that the catalytic converters had been stolen from them. He said that it's going to cost $2200 replace one of them and $1600 for the other one. He had very little vehicle info available at this time.     Mrs. Smith requested a WATCH set up for their vehicles. She says they have a 2013 Ford Focus red in color, a 2016 Toyota Tacoma burnt orange in color and an Audi G7 that stay in their driveway.

Aundrea stated that she allowed Stephen to spend the night at her place last night and when she awoke, she found that her purse was gone from the home. Someone has been using her credit and debit cards but she is unable to prove without a doubt that it is Stephen Coburn. I explained that I would make a report for her due to her items being taken and used without her consent. If I am able to verify that it is Stephen Coburn warrants will be issued for his arrest.

Mr. Snider stated that he is trying to sell his boat and its worth about $3500. He stated when he went to clean the boat, he observed the seat and carpet turning different colors and they were cracking. He wasunsure why. He believes someone may have sprayed some sort of acid spray on it. Mr. Snider has the company reviewing camerafootage. Mr. Snider is unsure of a time line of when it happened. The company explained to him that it could take awhile to locate someone getting onto his boat. Mr. Snider stated that his boat has been uncovered since April. I asked him if it could be due to the weather. Mr. Snider was convinced that it was not due to the weather. Mr. Snider wanted a report just in case someone did vandalize his boat. I gave him and the company a complaint card and my email address in case they observed a possible suspect.Nothing further to report.

    On 10/01/2020 at 15:40 hours, Officer J. Fincher (84846) responded to a False Pretenses/Swindle/Confidence Game at 491 Greenway View Dr. Police responded to the Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union (TVFCU) at this location for a male party attempting to cash a fraudulent check. Police made contact with the male an identified him as Ladara Smith. Mr. Smith stated he had been working for a man doing landscaping work, however he does not know his name. Mr. Smith stated he was given the check by another employee and he does not know his name either. Mr. Smith explained he has been working for the employer for two weeks and was paid $866.00 for his labor. Mr. Smith stated he was unaware that the check was fraudulent. Police spoke with Sandra Holland the account owner of the check. Ms. Holland stated she did not write or authorize a check for $866.00. Mr. Smith stated he was going to get the identity information and give to police at a later point. Police turned the check into property. No further police action can be done at this time.

    On 10/1/2020 at approx. 1508hrs, I Officer Wilcox #1036 responded to a theft of a motor vehicle at 3316 Taylor St. Upon arrival, I was met by owner Cassandra Ford who stated she was trying to report her Toyota TCD stolen before they found it crashed into theutility pole at the above location. She stated the Toyota was taken from Ford's Garage located at 2712 Benton Ave. approx. 15min before she called. She stated the vehicle had the keys in it at the time it was stolen and was not locked. The vehicle struck a mailbox, stone retaining wall and came to rest after striking the utility pole. The vehicle was unoccupied and there were not witnesses that saw the accident or who fled from the vehicle. The vehicle was not put into NCIC since the truck was recovered before being reported as stolen. No further.

    I spoke with Patricia Rose by phone. She says that on Monday 28 Sept. 2020, about 1715 hours she left her wallet on the self check out at Walmart on Hwy 153. She says that she has called customer service on more than one occasion and the wallet has not been turned in. She listed her credit cards and other contents. She says that she has canceled all of her credit cards and is unaware of any illegal activity on them. She understands that should there be any illegal activity on them that a separate report wilneed to be made for each card used.

    Mrs. Rose is clear to contact the credit bureaus and place a freeze on her credit. I also suggested that she go to "identitytheft.gov" and follow the recommendations there in..

Ms. Bennett stated that since the incident, she has been receiving messages from Mr. Jermario Thurman's (one of the possible suspects) mother (Belinda Thurman) and wife (unknown name), writing as though Ms. Bennett took part in blaming Mr. Thurman for this incident. Mr. Butler explained that an unknown bald white male wearing a two-toned jacket, gray pants and black shoes was disturbing the homeless on scene. When approached by Mr. Butler to leave, the unknown male began being belligerent and yelled. The unknown individual then left before officers arrived. Prior to arrival, dispatch stated that there was a motorcycle in the road way on fire. When I arrived on scene the rider Mr. Timothy Chambers had put out the fire with an fire extinguisher and moved it to the gas station parking lot. Fire came out on scene to make sure everything was put out and safe. Mr. Chambers stated he just bought the motorcycle. Through investigation, we found that thegas hose was leaking and caused the fire. It was accidental. Mr. Chambers did not need a tow. Upon arrival, police made contact with the business employee, Mr. Donnell Bramiett. Mr. Bramiett stated that around 1852hrs, a black male party walked inside the business. The male party staying inside the business for around 10 minutes. The male party waited until both employees were distracted and then proceeded on walking into the back office behind the register. The male party then grabbed a box that held about 10 cartons of Newport Cigarettes and then proceeded on walking out of the business, crossing all points of sale with no intention of paying for the merchandise. The male party then got inside a vehicle with atemp tag and drove away from the scene. Mr. Bramiett stated that the male party took about $700 worth of merchandise. They informed police they had paid a deposit to a Ms. Kelly Wilson party for a dog over apay app. When they went to the location to get the dog, the residence stated they had the wrong address and had no idea who theparty they were looking for was. The Fugates stated the party who was selling the dog was a Ms. Kelly Wilson party who they had been communicating through Facebook with about the dog. On this date they were unable to get hold of the Kelly Wilson party and her account had been inactive. The Fugates believed they had been scammed and wished to have the incident documented. Police stated they would look into the incident further. No further police action was bale to be taken at this time.

Police observed a vehicle that had ran over a curb and was hanging partially over an embankment. The rear passenger side of the vehicle was two feet off of the ground. Police identified the driver as Jacquelyn Keaney. Ms. Keaney request police call a tow truck. Guy Yates towing arrive on scene and put the vehicle back on all four wheels.     On 10/01/2020 at 19:37 hours, Officer Simpson (83694) responded to a Property Found at 212 High St. Upon arrival, police met with an anonymous party that wished to remain that way. She stated she found a wallet on the walking bridge and wanted to turn itover to PD. An attempt was made to contact the owner to no avail. The wallet was taken to CPD property division. No further policeaction was required.

    On 10/02/2020 at 16:39 hours, Officer J. Billingsley (79518) wrote a continuation/supplement for a Other Theft/Non-Specific at 3512 Rossville Blvd. The plate had been found on 09/30/2020 at 2308 Gifford St. under 20-099015. The plate had been taken to CPD property. The owner was notified via voice mail of such and the plate was removed from NCIC. Plate can not be listed as "recovered" in report as it was found prior to original theft report date. Nothing further.

She stated that she was in a verbal disorder with Robert Jones. Mr. Jones was also very intoxicated. MrJones agreed to go next door to let things cool off.

    I spoke with Mrs. Slade by phone. She says that sometime during the night, an unknown party entered her 2018 Nissan Altima and ransacked it. She says that everything was gone through and scattered about. She says that there were things of value in thevehicle, but, there was nothing taken.

Mr. Shelby reported he wanted police to stand by while he tell a tenant, Kiona Sanders, to stop walking on the roof of the residence. Ms. Sanders stated she would not walk on the roof of the residence again. Ms. Sanders reported she wanted to document Mr. Shelby disrespectful attitude towards her when it came to addressing matters within the residence.

    On 10/02/2020 at 11:00 hours, Officer Branam (70776) responded to a Damaged Property Accidental at 208 Gillespie Rd. The caller stated that a company clearing a lot, knocked over a tree into a power line. On arrival, I met with a Mr. Rickey Massey. He stated that his company was responsible for damaging a utility pole while doing work in the area. The amount of damage is unknown at this time due to the victim (EPB) still addressing the issue and assessing the damage.

    On 10/02/2020 at 11:40 hours, Officer Moser (60250) responded to a pedestrian struck at 4722 Tricia Dr. Police were unable to locate the vehicle or the person that was allegedly struck by a vehicle. When Police were about to leave the area a vehicle matching the description of the suspect vehicle showed up and was driven by a B/F Kenyetta Tucker and the vehicle had damage to the front driver side.Ms. Tucker stated that she has a wreck on Bonny Oaks Dr and she was visibly upset.After checking the area for security cameras Police located some at a local church and were able to review them.The video shows Ms. Tucker being thrown out of a vehicle or jumping out of the vehicle but she stated she was fine and would not give Police any information.

    I spoke with Stacey Byrd by phone. She says that an unknown party had electricity in her name at the aforementioned address. She says that EPB did not give her the dates of service nor any other information except the amount due of $931.90. She says that she has never lived at that address.

    She says that EPB told her that in order to clear this from her record, they are requiring a police report showing that she never livedat the Cambridge Dr. address.

    On 10/02/2020 at 13:17 hours, PIT McMahan (61444) reported a memo at 5526 Brainerd Rd at First Horizon Bank. The complainant said that she banks there and she had gone to the bank to try and open an online bank account and she was having trouble with her account also. She was then told that an online account had already been opened in her name and she said that was false. She said they then deleted the account and then opened up another one and gave her a password to log into it. She later tried to log in and couldn't and she's not sure if it's a mistake on the part of the bank or some kind of fraudulent activity on her account. At this time, there is no proof that any fraud has ocurred. I told the complainant that I could do a report for documentation only and she said she would like to document what's been going on. This report was taken by phone.

    I spoke with Mrs. Stephens by phone. She says that she got a call from a man who says that he is with the Social Security Administration and gave her a badge number. She says that he read off her social security number to her and started telling her that it was used in Texas illegally.

    I asked for the number that he called from and she said that she could not tell. She says that she did not go along with the scam and has not sent any money.

After attempting to locate the owner several times, the vehicle was towed due to it being a roadway hazard. The vehicle was towed to Cain's Wrecker at 608 Cherokee Blvd.

    On 10/02/2020 at 20:31 hours, Officer S. Long (79892) reported a suspicious person at 6003 Shallowford Rd. Police were dispatched to the Circle K gas station in reference to a homeless male that appeared to be having a break down and wished to have him removed from the property. Upon arrival, I found the male in question and identified him to be Mr. Torrance Dew. Mr. Dew stated he was having an emotional breakdown but is doing better. Mr. Dew stated he just would like a ride to the bus stop on Shallowford Rd near Shallowford Village Dr. I gave him a ride to the bus stop. No further.

    On 10/02/2020 at 23:15 hours, Officer Ayres (82234) responded to a MVT/Passenger Vehicle at 1611 Duncan Ave. Upon arrival I spoke with Danny Fisher Jr. Mr. Fisher stated he left his residence at approximately 1840 hrs. on 10/2/2020 and his vehicle, a tan 2017 Nissan truck (TN Reg: ), was parked in the driveway to the side of his residence at the above address. Mr. Fisher stated he returned to his residence at approximately 2200 hrs. on the same date and his vehicle was no longer parked where he had left it. Mr. Fisher stated the keys were inside of his vehicle in the cup holder and the vehicle was left unlocked. Mr. Fisher stated he has not given anyone permission to use his vehicle and would like to prosecute if anyone is found with the vehicle. Mr. Fisher stated he has no suspect description and does not have any cameras at his residence that would show his vehicle. Mr. Fisher valued the vehicle at approximately $30,000. The vehicle was entered into NCIC as stolen with NIC #: V052339119.

    No further action was taken at this time for this incident.

    On 10/02/2020 at 21:05 hours, I Officer Wilcox #1036 responded to a suspicious activity 3925 Bonny Oaks Dr. Prior to arrival, dispatched notified police that a female at the residence was calling stating a male was on her front porch and knocking on her door for approx. 10 minutes. Upon arrival, police searched the area and in the backyard found a male identified as Bradley Brown in a shed on the property. Mr. Brown stated his mother and sister lived at the above address, he was there because he was trying to use the wi-fi to make a call. Police made contact with the female identified as Anissa Whited who stated Mr. Brown is not allowed to be on the property. Mr. Brown was unaware of that and was given a ride to 3801 Mary Kate Dr. No further.

Both parties stated that they had gotten into a verbal argument, over Mr. Carmichael drinking. Both parties stated that the argument never turned physical. Both parties agreed to separate for the night.

    On 10/03/2020 at 01:20 hours, Officer J. Buckner (70791) responded to a Damaged Property Accidental at 3500 Wilcox Blvd. Police found a Hyundai Sonata had been left partially in the roadway at 3500 Wilcox Blvd. Upon further inspection, police found the right axel had broken on the vehicle while it was in motion, causing undercarriage damage and passenger side damage due to the tire turning. Vehicle was towed due to roadway obstruction.
