RECRUIT VOLUNTEER JUDGES
1. Start early by identifying local artists and cultural
organizations/businesses in your community.
2. Make a team of 2 or more for each Arts Category
3. Recruit artists with formal training/experience in the literary, media,
performing and visual arts to increase the credibility of your
program. Ask someone who has an understanding of children’s
minds and make it clear that this is a program to promote the Arts
and not a CONTEST.
4. Find digital judging ideas within the How To Host A Virtual
Reflections Program document and utilize the tools provided on the
Texas PTA website under the heading, Reflections Judging in
Seven Easy Steps.
