    today announced a special event to commemorate, in words and in music, the 10th

    anniversary of the

    tragedies that took place on September 11, 2001. Hosted by Christiane Amanpour, 9/11: 10 Years

    LaterAn Evening of Remembrance and Reflectionwill take place Thursday, September 8 at 7:30pm

    performance available around the globe.

    The by-invitation-only audience at the Kennedy Center will include members of the 9/11

    community and other special guests. The New Republic

    h will be distributed to all those attending

    the event. It will include reflections and recollections by a wide array of distinguished thinkers and

    writers exploring the many meanings of this anniversary. The magazine will also archive its extensive

    coverage of 9/11 and its consequences over the past decade atwww.tnr.com.
