IN THE M IDST OF THE LAND AND AT THE BORDEROur theme text states that there would be an altar and pillar in

the midst of the land of Egypt.. . and at the border... How can some-thing be in the middle and also at the border? First of all, the GreatPyramid is a monument situated near Gizeh in Egypt. The wordGizeh in Arabic means border. Henry Mitchell, Chief Hydrog-rapher of the United States Coast Survey discovered an additionalclue to this riddle while working on a report for the Suez Canal in1868. He noticed that the Nile Delta is pie-shaped. Plotting the sec-tor on a map, he found that the Great Pyramid is at its exact center. This remarkable feature led him to exclaim, That monument stands

in a more important physical situation thanany other building erected by man. It isat the border of upper and lower Egypt, and it is at the border of the sector-shapedNile Deltayet it is in the midst of Egypt,at the Deltas exact mathematical center.

Also of significance is an observationin that same year by Professor C. PiazziSmyth, Astronomer Royale of Scotland. He noted when examining the GreatPyramids geographical latitude and me-ridian on an equal-surface projection map,

that the structure is perfectly situated at

A S IGN FOR THE END T IMESMany Christians today are looking for signs to confirm their

faithreligious icons that bleed or cry, images of Jesus photographedin clouds, angels who appear bearing messages from God, etc. Butthe Bible itself cautioned about false signs and wonders which dis-tract from the true prophetic signs that are promised. The signs whichthe Bible warned against were only those which are not confirmedby Scripture. Matt. 12:39; 24:26; 2Thess. 2:9-10

One remarkable prophetic sign that is confirmed by Scripture isfound in our Isaiah 19 theme text pointing to the Great Pyramid inEgypt. It is one of the most dramatic signs given in Scripture, yet it isoverlooked by most students of the Biblebecause of preconceived ideas as to thePyramids purpose, origin and meaning. Ithas been shrouded in mystery as a cultishobject with claims of supernatural powers. In addition, Satan has done a masterful jobof destroying this beautiful Bible prophecyand many other Bible truths by associatingthem with evil. The goal of this report is tore-establish the Great Pyramid of Gizeh asa beautiful sign and witness providedin the word of God for the upbuilding of

faith in that daythe end times.

In that day shall there be an al tar to the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pi ll ar at the borderthereof... And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the Lord of hosts in the land of Egypt. Isai ah 19:19-20

over the passage systems of the Great Pyramid, note the amazing correspondences of historywith the symbolisms of these passage systems. The Egyptian names for these passages (provide clues as to the symbolisms intended by the Pyramids architect. The most importantfeatures of Gods plan were carefully written into the blue print of the Great Pyramid. Theseages are not arbitrarily drawn, but precise measurements of the chambers and passagewayscoincide inch by inch (pyramid inch = one year) with mans history as detailed by the Bible.

A W ITNESS P OINTING TO J ESUS A W ITNESS P OINTING TO J ESUS In the Scriptures, Christ Jesus is likened to

the head cornerstone of a pyramid. Usually, thecornerstone is at the base of a building, how-ever, with a pyramid, the cornerstone is the top-stone, and all other stones must conform to it, sothat the final structure itself looks exactly likethe top-stone. A pyramid is the only structurewhich offers this unique feature. The crowningfeature of Gods Kingdom fulfilled will beChrist, the acknowledged Head over allits top-stone; and each symbolic stone will be fitlyframed into the glorious building. That it doesrepresent Christ is indicated, not only by its ex-act fitness as a symbol of Christ, but also by nu-merous references to the symbol by prophets,

apostles and by our Lord Jesus himself.Isaiah 28:16 refers to Christ as the

precious cornerstone. Zechariah 4:7refers to its placement at the top of thecompleted edifice, with great rejoicing, saying, He shall bring forth the head-stone... The Prophet David, too, refersto our Lord, and uses a figure of speechexactly corresponding to that of thisstone witness of Egypt. He says, pro-phetically, from the standpoint of thefuture, The stone which the buildersrejected is become the head-corner-stone. (Psa. 118:22-24) Our Lord appliedthis very prophecy to himself, showing

that he was the rejected stone, and thatrael rejected him, under the leadershiptheir priests and Pharisees. (Matt. 21Acts 4:11) This is especially appropriate, cause the Great Pyramid has no top-stonor has one ever been found.

The pyramid figure represents perfectiand completeness, and speaks to us in sybol of the plan of God, showing that in dispensation of the fulness of times, he wgather together [into one harmonious faily, though on different planes of being], uder one Head, all things in heaven and earth, under Christall not being conforable being cut off. Eph. 1:10; 2:20-22Diag
