Diapers are a resource that every baby needs, yet they’re something not every family can afford. That’s one rea-son CoxHealth is launch-ing its fifth annual Diaper Drive on April 1 – and is inviting the community to help make a difference.

“Providing basic neces-sities when raising a fam-ily can be a challenge,” says Donyta Upton, manager of The Women’s Center at CoxHealth. “For families facing difficult circum-stances, having an adequate number of diapers is a big concern. Families often have to prioritize basic liv-ing needs, and often diapers fall pretty far down on the list.”

To help with the need, disposable and cloth diapers can be donated to this drive, which goes until April 30. Diapers will be given to Dia-per Bank of the Ozarks in Springfield, Monett Com-munity Kitchen, Korner-stone in Shell Knob, First Presbyterian Church in Mt. Vernon, and Jesus Was Homeless in Branson. The organizations will then dis-tribute the diapers to local families in need.

Collection boxes will be placed at CoxHeath facili-ties as well as several area businesses. The drop-off locations include:
