Reaction Essay to 9/11 Conspiracy Theories

I find these conspiracy theories to be absolutely ridiculous while some of these

ideas maybe be plausible the majority are mere figments of a very overactive

imagination. Such as the idea put out by the French author Thierry Meyssan in his book

L'Effroyable imposture Meyssan states that the planes that hit the World Trade Center

were piloted by remote control and not hijacked. This is proven wrong by all the phone

calls made from the passengers of those planes to loved ones. Meyssan also states that a

plane did not fly into the Pentagon due to the lack of wreckage. This is argument is

proven false due to the fact that there is no wreckage from the planes that hit the World

Trade Centers either and it was played on live television. Meyssans argument is

completely ridiculous he speaks of high tech remote control airplanes and what not. This

is one of those theories which is merely a figment of the imagination how ever he does

have a valid reason as to why the Untied States would do such a thing. He claims that it is

to have an excuse to act Iraq and get oil from the country. A valid theory on the other

hand is that we had information of the attack long before it was ever executed and that

the FBI simply ignored it in order to give our country an excuse to declare a war. This is

much more believable this involves not actually committing the act but standing by and

letting it happen. Having not done extensive research on the subject I cannot say with

certainty whether or not this was a conspiracy or not but I lean towards no. The ridiculous

theories by far out weigh the valid ones and there as been no proof of conspiracy.
