Effective immediately, portable/mobile radio transmitters and transceivers with built-in antenna and output power of 100 milliwatts or less are exempted from radio station licens- ing requirements. However, said transmitters and transceivers must be registered with the Radio Control Office at 86 Quezon Boulevard Extension, Quezon City, or any of its Field Offices at Cebu City, Davao City and Tolosa, Leyte, not later than November 15, 1972. The procedure for registration is as follows: a. Secure the necessary application form from any of the above-mentioned offices. b. Return accomplished application form, 'submit the transmitter(s) or transceiver(s) for verification and pay the amount of five pesos (~5.00) per set as Permit Fee. c. Get original copy of approved Permit to Possess and to Operate. The Permit to Possess and to Operate, which will be issued after registration, will serve as proof that said radio trans- mitter(s) or transceiver(s) has/have an output power of 100 milliwatts or less and as an authority to operate the set(s). Users and/or owners of the above-mentioned type of radio transmitters and transceivers are enjoined to immediately take advantage of this opportunity. Failure to register them after the aforementioned deadline will subject such radio transmitter(s) and transceiver(s) to confiscation. Those who are in the provinces who may not be able to personally file their applications for registration of their sets may send to the Radio Control Office by registered mail with postmark· . not later than November 15, 1972, a letter of application stating the name and address of the applicant and the make, type, model and serial number of the equipment if available. A permit fee in the amount of five pesos (~5.00) per set in Postal Money Order payable to the Radio Control Office, Quezon City, shall be submitted together with the letter of application.
