Gift Bearers for Next Sunday
A note from our Pastor: With sadness we mourn the loss of Fr Rene Robert whose body was found on Monday in Georgia. Fr Rene died on Sunday, April 10th, the day of his disappearance. But more important than how his life came to a tragic end that day, it was how he lived a selfless life of love for others. A life known for putting into action our faith through the Corporal and Spiritual Acts of Mercy. Humbly and generously, he shared his giftedness with those suffering with the disability of deafness, and more recently those whose lives have led them to be jailed or imprisoned. By those to whom he minis-tered, Fr Rene is remembered for his selfless love of others and for reminding each and every one of the people he served that Jesus created them for greatness with a good and noble purpose in our world. In this Year of Mercy, let us pray that our loving Lord will finish the good work that Fr Rene began by converting the troubled soul of the man who took his life. And may Jesus Christ grant eternal rest to Fr Rene and cause a gentle peace to be upon all in his family and in our community who suffer his loss.
