The former 69th overall selection in 2011 by the As-tros has won each of his last 2 starts and faces off against Mobile for the 2nd time. InMobile on August 3, Houser took a no decision, giving up 3 runs on 7 hits over 5.2 IP.giving up a 3-run homer to Socrates Brito in the 6th inning. Houser has 14 strikeoutsand just 1 walk over his last 2 starts, yielding just 3 ER in 11 IP.

    •MGM PARK MAGIC RETURNS WITH RIVERA’S 11TH INNING WALK-OFF:

    BILOXI BASEBALL HISTORY: Pro baseball is not totally new to the Gulf Coast, but it is the rst since 1908. TheGulfport-Biloxi Sand Crabs of the Cotton States League played half a season in Biloxi during the summer of 1908.Many Major League and som Minor League teams held spring traing in the area. Even the 1920 Milwaukee Brewersof the American Association (direct descendant of the current Brewers) trained in Gulfport. See below.

In 13arts between High-A Lancaster and Double-A Corpus Cristi, Houser went 3-4 with a 4.98 ERA. Through 17 innings,e righty has not walked a batter and struck out 17 since joining the Shuckers.

    ast Outing: Houser picked up his second win as a Biloxi Shucker against the Jackson Generals on August 20. Inve innings, the 22-year-old gave up just one run on seven hits while walking one and striking out six.

    s. Mobile: Tuesday will be Houser’s second start against the Mobile BayBears. The Oklahoma native’s rst startith the Shuckers came against Mobile on August 3. In 5.1 innings, Houser allowed three runs on seven hits and sixrikeouts, while surrendering a homerun.

    015: Acquired by the Brewers along with fellow Shuckers teammates OF Brett Phillips, LHP Josh Hader  and OFomingo Santana (assigned to AAA Col Springs) from the Houston Astros on July 30th.
