TO SET OUTPUT DURATIONThe receiver can be set for eitherconstant or momentary closure on theoutput contacts for each channel (A andB). (Use constant closure only if constantpressure is needed.) With the jumper in“1” (Momentary) position, the contactswill close for 150msregardless of thelength of radiotransmission. The 2 Channel Universal Receiver Model8002E can be programmed to receive up to15 codes for each channel.

INSTALLATIONThe receiver should be mounted towards the front of the garage,preferably about two meters above the floor. Select a location whichallows clearance for opening the cover, and space for the antenna(as far from metal structures as possible). The receiver and antennause TV Type F coaxial connectors. The antenna is threaded directlyonto the receiver. An optional remote antenna mounting kit isavailable if more range is needed. The transformer (Model 23009E) must be plugged into the wallwithin two meters of the receiver, to allow the wire to reach thereceiver terminals. 1. Fasten the receiver securely with screws through the corner

holes which are located under the cover.2. Inside the receiver, locate the terminals on the circuit board (see

illustration). Connect the transformer wire to the block underterminals 1 and 2.

3. Connect the wire from your wall mounted door control (or otherpush button) to channel A terminals 5 and 6. Connect the wiresfor a second door control (if there are two doors to control) tochannel B terminals 3 and 4. If no wall control (or other pushbutton) is used, refer to your garage door opener owner’s manual.

4. Plug in the transformer and reconnect power. You may use eachcommand button to operate your opener(s).

PROGRAMMING THE RECEIVER TO ACCEPT YOUR TRANSMITTER CODE

Activate the opener only when door is in full view, free ofobstruction and properly adjusted. No one should enter orleave garage while door is in motion. Do not allow children to

operate push button(s) or remote(s). Do not allow children to play nearthe door.

1. Press and hold the remote control push button.

2. Press and release the program button in the Control Center on the openerpanel. The indicator light will flash once.

3. Release the remote push button.

Now the opener will operate when the remote control push button ispressed.

If you release the remote control push button before the indicatorlights flash, the opener will not accept the code.

Repeat steps 1– 3 to program the receiver for all remote controls inuse for that door. If a second door is in use, use a different remotecontrol button and repeat the steps for channel B.Replace top cover with mounting screws.To erase all codes from the receiver: hold the receiver’s programbutton until the indicator light goes off (after 6 seconds).
