He is certainly not a classic product designer, but he would call himself as a brand designer who made his name by unusual projects such as adventure shops for Mercedes-Benz or the hotel brand of DaimlerChrysler. Furthermore, the ICE.Lounge and the conception of SCHMUCKWELTEN Pforzheim with the glamorous opening show. In product design, there is almost nothing the Brand designer hasn‘t created and conceived yet. The variety is huge, from Watches to Fashion and furniture. Just look at the various awards, from graphic artist award (World Design Contest Canada) to communication rates (Corporate Design Award) and Design Awards (Red Dot, German Design Award) and many more.

Series2designed by Simon BusseBorn in 1976 , studied Industrial Design at the State Academy of Fine Arts Stuttgart (SAdbK), where he graduated, and at the Design Academy Eindhoven with Richard Hutten and Gijs Bakker. After working for Frank Tjepkema, Amsterdam, Xavier Claramunt, Barcelona and Gonzalo Mila, Barcelona, Simon Busse opened his own Design studio in 2005. His work for Almerich, Magazin or Mox have been widely published in print and online magazines such as Financial Times, Detail, Stylepark, Icon, Grid or Design Report, and have been awarded and exhibited internationally. Besides his work as an industrial designer Simon Busse also advises industrial companies such as Carl Zeiss in design management and teaches at the University OWL Detmold and SAdbK Stuttgart.

Awards: German Design Award (Special Mention), Nominated Furniture of the Year (Raum und Wohnen), Interior Innovation Award (German Design Council), Renault Traffic Design Award.
