Warranty

Shanghai Nautilus General Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd warrants the “ ” brand products that we produce for a period of one year since the ex-factory date. Should there be any problem about the product quality itself during the guarantee period, you are authorized to demand for servicing or replacing the damaged components (vulnerable components such as belt, filter, etc. are not included); We don’t bear any other costs or losses.

Limitations and exclusions The warranty doesn’t include maintenance or replacement caused by the following reasons:(1) The running conditions of the product deviate from what is defined in the contract (include, but are not limited to temperature, corrosion, contaminants, power supply, system resistance, etc.); (2) Damages caused by violent handling, removal of some components, improper replacement or maintenance, on-site accidents, lack of over-heat protection equipment or long term reversed rotation which severely violate the specifications in the Installation, Operation and Maintenance manual; (3) Unauthorized disassembly and then reorganization or alteration to the product; (4) The serial number of the product has been altered, removed or is incorrect; (5) Damages due to irresist-ible force.

BALANCING LEVEL:Each wheel is dynamically balanced to the level of G2.5 (Typical products are balanced to G6.3 only). This would ensure the wheel running well in long term.

NON-OVERLOADING DESIGN:The Wheels of “Wind-SurferII ” series naturally have a peak value on the shaft power curve, by which customers could easily choose proper motors to make sure they are non-overloading despite of the deviation between jobsite and design.

PRECISE VENTURI INLETThe Venturi inlet of the wheel and the one on roof curb cap precisely match each other, which ensures smooth air flow and reduces the noise and energy loss caused by turbulence.

CFD AMCA

OPTIMIZED DESIGNInfinair combined the CFD simulation technologies with self-owned standard laboratory to optimize the wheel design again and again. We’ve successfully upgraded the Wind-surfer series to the 2nd generation, which is featuring higher efficiency, lower noise and more stable performance. The wheel design is leading the industry and quite satisfying as acknowledged by our customers.

1.5Catalogue Introduction

Each fan performance is symbolized by a group of curves for different RPM.The bolded curves indicate the fan is direct drive which means the wheel is installed on the motor shaft

directly. All direct drive models shall have a suffix letter D followed by motor pole number (which is alreadymarked on the drawing). The attached table shows motor RPM at different number of poles.

The not-bolded curves means the fan is belt drive. The belt drive models establish different RPM by choos-ing different diameter of the 2 pulleys, while the motor is 2/4/6 pole.

Shaft Power Curve displays the fan actural power consumption.The sound pressure level curve indicated the noise level at 1.5 meter distance.

Back-draft damper

Professional back-draft damper include inlet/outlet flange and protective casing which reserved space for damper bladeoperation. The damper is installed separately from the fan body.

Filter section/

Washable aluminum mesh filter, disposable plate or bag type filter are available.

Motor cover (Apply for belt drive type only)

With discharge window to exhaust heat, extend motor life and reduce motor noise.

Acoustical housing, 6~8dB(A)

Apply high class acoustical material inside the fan casing to reduce sound pressure level at about 6~8 dB(A).

Vibration isolators

Vibration isolators can be hung or floor-mounted, material can be neoprene or spring type.

Section 1: Quality standards.In-line centrifugal fans shall be tested and approved according to AMCA standard 210 & 300, each fan shall have AMCASound & Air Performance Seal. The manufacturer shall be certified by ISO9001:2000.

Thefan wheel Venturi shall have round curved section to smoothly transit the air to the wheel cone. The wheel shall bestatically and dynamically balanced to Level G2.5 as per ISO Standard No. 1940.

Section 3: Fan HousingMaterial: The fan housing shall be constructed of heavy gauge galvanized steel panel (Option: acid/alkali washed, phos-phated and statically applied epoxy coated cold roll steel panel) with a rigid internal support structure. The thickness ofthe panel shall be strong to support the weight of the drive and motor. Profile: The profile of the housing shall be squarebasically, with rectangular sleeve flange to avoid round./square transducer duct. The housing shall have optional dischargedirection. Large access door shall be equipped on both sides of the housing, which can be used to replace motor withoutremoving ready made duct.

Section 4: Drive [Apply to belt drive model only]Shaft: fan shaft shall be heat treated through soaking furnace to the hardness level of HB370, and the surface shall behard film corrosion treated. The fan shaft shall be balanced together with the wheel. And the shaft design speed shall atleast exceed 25% of the maximum fan operation speed.Pulleys: fan pulleys shall be sized for a minimum of 150% of driven horsepower. Pulleys shall be of cast iron type,keyed and securely attached to the wheel and motor shafts. Motor pulleys shall be adjustable for final system balancing.Conical (QD) type bushings shall be equipped for easy removal of the pulleys.Bearings: bearings shall be selected for a minimum (L-10) life in excess of 80,000 hours at maximum cataloged operat-ing speed. Bearing type shall be permanently sealed, re-lubricable pillow block metal ball bearings.Drive support: drive assemblies shall be supported by heavy gauge powder coated steel. The belt tension shall beadjusted through motor support plate, the design shall make sure the fan shaft and motor shaft is always parallel.

Section 6: NameplatePermanently fixed aluminum nameplate shall be fixed on fan body clearly display fan mark, product model and serialnumber. The serial number shall be a unique ID for each fan, so that the customer can use this number to find out theparts used to build this fan.
