Our rating & descriptionThe green olive trees, the silence that leaves room for the singing of

birds and a feeling of infinite freedom: that is what we breathe in Pod-

ernovo.

The estate covers 400 hectares and is surrounded by endless rows of

olive trees and vineyards that confound the view.

The Country House hosts four houses, a tennis court, a production of oil

and wine, a farming field of Sense and Chianina cows.

The four houses “Ulivo”, “Cipresso”, “Quesrcia” and “Patassa” are di-

vided into 16 apartments, renovated respecting the environment and the

local traditions. Each house has its own pool, for guests only.

The apartments, with typical wooden beam ceiling, spacious and ele-

gantly furnished, all have independent heating, air conditioning, tele-

phone, satellite television with SKY subscription, living room with a fire-

place, fully equipped kitchen, laundry service and towels.

WeddingsThe guesthouse is ideal location for refined countryside style weddings

inasmuch as the wedding rites, which can take place in near San Gal-

gano Abbey or in suggestive Montesiepi Chapels, unique, for preserving

the legendary sword in the rock.

Located near Siena, this beautiful place is immersed in greens and si-

lence of Val di Merse natural park, a place famous for its beauty and

still untouched.

The structure is an old Tuscan farmhouse build of stone in 1700.

The recent restructuration allowed to maintain the original rustic char-

acter of the building, installing modern comfort facilities.

Inside the farmhouse rustic charm is being kept thanks to characteristic

ceilings of chestnut tree beams, whereas floors are paved with hand-

made terracotta tiles.

The rooms decorated in natural colours are furnished in modest, essen-

tial, but comfortable and tasteful way.

For the happy couple and their guests, the palazzo offers 5 apartments,

with private ecologic swimming pool with natural salt water to make

their stay near nature even more relaxing.
