Planning for the always highly anticipated ‘Melrose Fat Tyre Festival’ and ‘18 Hours of Melrose’ is well underway and in 2018 we are bringing fresh, new and innovative ideas to these events including the appointment of a professional Event Manager.

It’s Mountain biking & festivities at a whole new level!

The Fat Tyre Festival and 18 Hours of Melrose offer a great weekend away full of adventure and relaxation for both ride participants and their friends & families. There is something for everyone, from beginner rides and instruction to challenging trails to push the most experienced riders out of their comfort zone. About the EventsThe Melrose Fat Tyre Festival is all about bringing the family to the gateway of the Flinders Ranges for four days of mountain biking, food, music and entertainment, all enjoyed in the fresh air and under the gaze of the beautiful Mt Remarkable.

Mountain bike devotees flock to this annual event. Mention ‘Fat Tyre’ to these enthusi-asts and their eyes light up. This event is synonymous with FUN!

Melrose is a small country town and as such you have a very captive audience to demonstrate your product or service over the duration of the Festival.

In 2018 we are introducing a brand new concept; ‘The Fat Tyre Festival Village’. Every good cycling event deserves a good village; a place with great atmosphere for participants and their families to enjoy in between cycling events. A place to find food stalls (both local and from Adelaide), music and entertainment for both adults and kids alike.

Mountain biking is an emerging sport and one of the fastest growing family friendly health and recreational lifestyle activities in Australia.

The Fat Tyre Festival first took place in 2002 and has been steadily growing in numbers each year. In 2017 over 2000 people visited Melrose across both events.

By becoming involved as a sponsor you will receive exposure at both the Fat Tyre Festival and the 18 Hours of Melrose and align your company or business with these key elements of community,health & recreation.

> All prices quoted in Australian Dollars and include GST

> The extent of acknowledgement of the sponsor should be commensurate with the level of sponsorship (monies, goods or services) received, and as outlined in the sponsorship proposal.

> Publicity and benefits can only proceed when payment has been received. Payment must be received within 21 days of issue of invoice.

> Registration of company attendees will be done separately upon confirmation of your sponsorship. All exhibition staff (complimentary or otherwise) must be registered.

> Exhibitors and sponsors are responsible for arranging appropriate insurance cover in connection with their attendance at the events, including loss, theft & liability. The organisers cannot be held liable for any loss, liability or damage to personal property.

> You must hold a current broadform liability insurance policy for a minimum of AUD10,000,000. A request for the name of your insurer, your policy number and its renewal date may be requested. This information will be required prior to the events commencing.

> Cancellation must be in writing. A cancellation fee of 50% of the total sponsorship will be retained by the Organisers if the Sponsor/Exhibitor cancels prior to 1 April 2018. Cancellations after this date will attract a 100% cancellation fee of the total sponsorship.
