1/Login the NE for new device

The IP address of your laptop must be network section 129.9.x.x, the mask

must be 255.255.0.0

Open weblct, and click the NE search.

Please be sure the domain must be 129.9.255.255 that is by default. Then

click search. Click add NE after searching the NE. Cancel the NE search-

dialog box.

Select the NE that you want to login, and click the NE login, the use name is

root or lct by default, password is password.

Click the NE Explore to open the NE Explore.

2/Commissioning

Quick configuration:

For PDH MW (there is no line board (Optical board/Electronic board/Ethernet

service board), and must be single direction MW), the Quick configuration is

the best method for commissioning. But please remember the Quickconfiguration is only for new device.

Strongly recommend Quick configuration is only for 10 system.

Step1: Modify the NE name and NE ID

Please modify the NE name and NE ID as planed. For example: there are

several sets of IDU, if the NE ID of a IDU is 12 and the site name is upper23,

the NE name is 12-upper23-1 and others maybe 13-upper23-2 or 14-upper23-

IF there is no plan, please contact with HW engineer. You must not modify the

extended NE ID, NE IP address and gateway IP address if there is no plan.

If you modify the NE ID, the SCC board will be reset. You can close the NE

Explore and delete the NE in NE list. Then you can search the NE and login

again.

Step2: Quick configuration

Please click next and select the capacity and modulation configure the TX

Frequency and TX power for the link as planed. If there is no plan for link ID

and T/R spacing, please leave them (no need to change) and they are 1 and

0 respectively by default.

Please select how many E1 service we want to use as planed.

Please select the clock source as planed. If there is no plan, please select the

internal clock source for clock level 1 or contact with HW engineer.

Please configure the order wire and click next. Maybe there is no plan for

order wire. But strongly recommend, the high site is 101 and low site is 102.

If you make sure the configuration is ok, please click Apply and finish the

Quick configuration.

Step3: NE time synchronization

Before you configure the NE time synchronization, you must make sure you

the time of your laptop is the local time. Then please double click the

synchronous mode and select the NM, click apply.

Right click and select the synchronize with NM time

Step4: 15min/24hour performance monitor

Select the NE you want to configure the performance. Select the enable for

15-minute and 24-hour. If the operation is failed, please select the next day

for form time and must not select the to time.

Step3: IF 1+1 protection

Click the new and open the IF 1+1 protection dialog box. Select the working

mode as planed, and select the working board and protection board. Please

make sure the working board must be connect to main ODU that installed on

main interface of coupler.

The protection group ID, revertive mode, WTR time and reverse switching are

by default, no need to change if there is no design.

Click ok.

Step4: IF configuration (radio work mode/link id/ATPC)

Please select the capacity and modulation for the link as planed. No need to

change the link ID if there is no design. Dont enable the ATPC if no

requirements or design.

If its a 1+1 system, only configure the main IF board.

Step5: ODU configuration (TX Frequency/TR spacing/TX power/transmission

status of ODU including main and standby)

Configure the TX Frequency as planed; The T/R Spacing is 0 by default, no

need to change!

Configure the TX power as planed.

Configure the transmission status of ODU.

If its a 1+1, make sure the configure transmission status of ODU

including main and standby ODU must be unmute

Step8: Order wire

If there is no design for order wire, strongly recommend it is 101 for high site

and 102 for low site.

Step9: NE time synchronization

Before you configure the NE time synchronization, you must make sure you

the time of your laptop is the local time. Then please double click the

Extended ECC Mode

If there are less than 4(including 4 ) IDUs in one shelter, you can connect the

IDUs( EHT and EHT-HUB port on SCC board, EHT cable) like the picture as

follows, and then set the Extended ECC Mode to Auto mode.

After finishing, you can manage all IDUs in one MW network.

IF 1+1 protection

Please pay more attention to switching status of device and active board of

device", please make sure they are normal and the active board is the main

board.

You can use the clear to change the switching status of device to

normal.

Set the E1 loop back for example. (Other loopback is like this.)Inloop is internal, and outloop is external.

PRBS TEST

Please pay more attention to the testing direction!

Before doing PRBS test, first confirm the cross-connecting of the near end and

far end is ready!

Remark:

When aligning the antennas, turn off the standby ODU and make sure the

ATPC is disabled, if it is a 1+1 system.

If the both of IF boards and ODUs are normal, but the receive power of Main

ODU is less about 6dBm than standby ODU, maybe the main ODU connects to

the standby IF board. You can turn off the main and standby ODUs power,

and then exchange the IF jumpers of main and standby IF boards.
