PMC Associates is providing Alcatel-Lucent’s VitalSuite for SNMP management of the EADS Project 25 Trunking and Tait Project 25 conventional repeater solutions on their NYS Net Price Sheets. SNMP management is a commercial-off-the-shelf application that can also be purchased from the following OGS Procurement Services Group contracts:

1. Comprehensive Telecommunications Equipment and Solutions (CTES) Contract (Group 77018, Award 21350). The following is the link to the Award Page for the CTES contract:

2. The section entitled “Contractor Arrangements” on page 15 now has a subsection describing the Authorized

Users’ option for purchasing SNMP management products from the OGS CTES and Software contracts for the EADS and Tait solutions, as indicated in Subject I.

3. The “Index of Awards (LOTS)” on page 16 for PMC Associates (EADS North America product lines) was

updated to correspond to the addition of EADS North America’s and Tait Radio Communications’ products, as indicated in Subject I above.

Authorized Users are allowed to purchase replacement parts and monthly maintenance for systems/equipment purchased outside of the NYS Radio Communications Equipment Contract, Award 19521, if the replacement parts and monthly maintenance rates for the systems/equipment are on the Contractor’s NYS Net Price sheets. See bullet # 3.

2. Authorized Users would be allowed to purchase Time and Material maintenance for any products manufactured by the manufacturer, even if the specific product is not on the Contractor’s NYS Net Price Sheets. See bullet #3.

3. The Contractor would be required to establish maintenance rates at or below the rates listed on their NYS Net Price Sheets and add to the contract prior to sale via the contract update procedures.

4. Contractors are not obligated to provide the Authorized Users maintenance service for systems/equipment not purchased from the NYS Radio Communications Equipment Contracts.

5. The Contractor will inspect the system/equipment to make a determination as to whether or not they wish to provide the Authorized User maintenance. Any rates for the inspection service will be at or below the time and material or service personnel hourly rates listed on the Contractors’ NYS Net Price Sheets. Contractors may refuse to offer maintenance, on previously purchased equipment, at the rates established in Award 19521, due to age, condition, availability of parts, etc.

OGS Procurement Services Group has received calls from Authorized Users regarding Motorola’s purchase order process. Motorola provided the following procedures that the Authorized Users should follow to place purchase orders:

• Please make purchase orders directly to Motorola and include on the purchase order "New York State Contract #PT62495 & #PT62496”. Also include a "bill to" and "ship to" address. Purchase orders require a signature from a representative authorized to make purchases for the Authorized User.

• Purchase orders should be mailed to the address of the Manufacturer’s Representative (Authorized Dealer) or Motorola Direct Sales Representative that is making the sale. If, however, the Authorized User’s purchasing procedures require that the purchase order be mailed directly to the Contractor, please mail to
