THE BEST HOT CHOCOLATE RECIPE

You can’t beat snuggling down on the sofa in front of the TV with

a proper hot chocolate during the Christmas period, so we thought

it only right to give you a recipe that will help you make the best

hot chocolate ever. Serves 2:565ml Milk2 Tablespoons of good-quality drinking chocolate

As many marshmallows as you fancy

A can of squirty creamChocolate shavings

1 Put the milk into a pan and bring it to a simmer (not boiling).

2 Place a tablespoon of chocolate powder into each mug.

3 Then add a little warm milk to the chocolate powder to dissolve it.

4 Once dissolved, put the milk back on the hob and add some marshmallows to your mugs.

5 When the milk is at a simmer, transfer it to a large flask or jug

(one that could fill double the amount of milk you have) and screw a lid on tightly.

6 Over the sink, with a cloth over the lid for safety, shake the jug/flask vigorously

for around a minute. 7 Remove the lid from the jug/flask (being cautious of steam) and pour into your two mugs.

8 Give the contents of the mugs a bit of a stir, then top with squirty cream, more

marshmallows and chocolate shavings.
