a. Safety and security
Security guards are deployed at main gate and students with valid identity cards
are allowed into the campus.
The college campus is under surveillance with high end CC cameras installed at
prominent locations.
Sufficient lighting is provided in the campus during nights in case of extension
of regular hours for placements or cultural activities
Women faculty members accompany girl students when they participate in
outdoor activities or tours.
Lady Advisory & Internal Complaints Committee (LA&ICC) interacts regularly
with the girl students and resolves the issues addressed by them.
The college ensures social security through Anti-Ragging Committee and
Grievance Redressal Committee.
The Disciplinary committee curbs indiscipline in the campus.
A complaint box is arranged to receive grievances or suggestions from the
students which are addressed by respective committees.
Emergency contact numbers are displayed in prominent places in the campus
Separate hostels are provided for girls with appropriate security arrangements
and hostel committees are formed to take care of the students.
Awareness programs on safe driving measures and Motor vehicle act are
arranged. Driving license mela is conducted and LLR is issued to eligible. by
Motor vehicle inspector.
b. Counselling
Faculty counsel the students during mentoring regarding academic performance,
career plans and personal issues
Head of the department monitors the students and counsel the students regarding
depression or misbehavior
LA&ICC members enquire and counsel the students addressing their problems
Guest lectures are arranged by LA&ICC to address health, stress or gender
sensitization issues.
Eminent persons from police department and constitutional members are invited
to counsel the students regarding ragging, eve teasing and harassments during
college events.
c. Common room
Girls waiting halls and rest rooms are provided in each block in the campus with
required facilities. LA&ICC monitors the facilities in waiting halls.
Health Centre is available in the campus with qualified physician and male &
female nurses with separate treatment rooms for girls and boys. Free medicines
are provided on requirement.
Central library provides separate reading space for girls, which is utilized during
free periods.
College canteen has separate space for girls to avoid inconvenience during
working hours.
Separate space and courts are provided for sports and games of girls and they are
always encouraged.

A new NCC UNIT: 10A GIRLS Betalion unit 67G (B) for girls was raised on 05/10/2018
and was inaugurated by our President, Dr.R.Srinivas, Secretary & Correspondent,
Sri.R.Gopala Krishna, Colnol G.V.B.Saisankar, commander, 10Andhra Girls Betalion,
Guntur.
Smt. J.Usha Kranti, Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, was appointed as
Care taker & Associated NCC Officer (ANO) for girls unit as per College rules.

temples at Guntur, Rajahmundry and Ananthapur delivered a lecture on stress control for
I/IV B. Tech girl students on 22.04.2015.
Dr.M. Madhavi Latha, Associate Professor in Physiology from NRI Medical College, Guntur,
delivered a highly informative lecture on knowledge, attitude and practice for a healthy life
style on 26.09.2018.
Dr.Sai Sandeep Gupta, Neurologist, Ramesh Hospitals, Guntur, educated the audience with the
measures to be taken for saving the lives of brain and heart attack victims on 28.10.2015.
Sri B. Mallikarjuna Rao, a National Yoga Champion presented a lecture about the key aspect
of the science of Yoga and its importance for healthy life on 03.02.2016.
Smt K.V. Padmavathi, Legal Counsellor, Domestic Violence act, delivered lecture about
thewomen’s law and protection measureson 22.09.2016.
Smt B. Rama Devi, faculty, Art of Living, Guntur presented a practical session about the aspect of
happiness with healthy life for all the first year B. Tech, MBA, MCA and lady staff members of
the college on12.10.2017.
Dr. A. PriyaNandana, M.S,OBG, Ramesh Hospitals, Guntur delivered a highly informative
lecture on measures to be taken to keep away the cancer to the cervix for First year B.Tech,
MCA and MBA girl students on 06.01.2018.
