  • Crooked Lake
    • Water quality has significantly improved from 1983 to 2009
    • Secchi transparency has an improving trend since 1993
    • Total Phosphorus and Chlorophyll-a are statistically unchanged

6. TREND ANALYSIS

  • Ham Lake
    • There is no long term trend in TP, Cl-a, and Clarity
  • Netta
    • There is no long term trend in TP, Cl-a
    • Clarity appears to be improving over the last 10 years

7. Implications

  • Declines in water level is the most significant trend and threat to lakes within the watershed
  • Declines in water level will probably lead to increased concentrations of TP & Cl-a
  • As water levels drop
    • fishing will improve
    • mean temperatures could rise and DO levels could fall placing the fishery at risk

8. Expectations

  • Water levels will continue to drop
  • Greater occurrence of EWM & CLP
