FLEET MASTER CHIEF (SS) WES KOSHOFFER

MANPOWER, PERSONNEL, TRAINING, AND EDUCATION FLEET MASTER CHIEF

Master Chief Wes Koshoffer currently serves as the Fleet Master Chief for MPT&E. He is a second generation Submarine Sailor and a native of Newport, R.I. Joining the Navy in March of 1989 he attended Basic Training in Great Lakes, Illinois followed by Basic Enlisted Submarine School and Submarine Radioman "A" and "C" schools in Groton CT. His sea duty assignments include, USS Phoenix (SSN 702), USS Baltimore (SSN 704), PCU Cheyenne (SSN 773), USS Jacksonville (SSN 699) and USS Alexandria (SSN 757) where he served as Chief of the Boat. Ashore he was assigned to Submarine Squadron Support Unit and Submarine Force Atlantic Tactical Readiness evaluation team where he served as Senior Communications Evaluator. In 2006, he was selected as a Command Master Chief. Since his selection he has served as Command Master Chief at Naval Submarine School, Submarine Development Squadron Twelve, Submarine Group Two, the Naval Leadership and Ethics Center, U.S. Naval War College and as Force Master Chief for Submarine Force Atlantic. Master Chief Koshoffer is a graduate of the United States Navy Senior Enlisted Academy, the Command Master Chief Capstone Course and the National Defense University Keystone Course. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business administration from Trident University International.
