•All coaches have current Pupil Activity Supervisor Permits from the State of Ohio.

•All coaches have current CPR training.•All coaches have current Sports Safety

Training.•Even with many precautions, there is still a

possibility that your child could be injured during a practice or interscholastic contest.

MUST have a current pre-participatory physical.

Physical forms are available on the school website, under “athletics” tab.

Pay to Participate Fees

•Each inter-scholastic sport has a PTP fee of $80.

•Half of the fee is due before the season starts; the balance is due halfway through the season.

•You may pay the full fee at the beginning.•Students who have not paid the PTP fee

are not permitted to compete in contests.

Pay to Participate Fees

•Students on free lunch programs have a waived PTP fee for ONE sport only. If the student plays a 2nd or 3rd sport, the full $80 must be paid.

•Students on reduced lunch programs have a reduced PTP fee of $40 for ONE sport only. If the student plays a 2nd or 3rd sport, the full $80 must be paid.

•Family cap of $360.

•Turn payment in to main office of your child’s school or pay online via PayPal.

•Fall due dates: •8/27 and 9/24

Eligibility- 6th grade, entering 7th•All current 6th graders will be academically

eligible for the first grading period of their 7th grade year.

• If a current 6th grader does not have a 4th quarter GPA of at least 1.8, the student will be put on probation for participation.

•Starting with the first quarter report card, you must pass a minimum of 5 courses and maintain a GPA of 1.8 or higher.

Participation Restrictions

•While a student is playing for a school team, he or she may not try out for, practice for, or play in an actual contest with a non-interscholastic squad.

• If this rule is violated, the student can be deemed ineligible for the remainder of the season AND the team may have to forfeit any games in which the student played.

Volleyball FAQs

•Tryouts are Monday 8/16 and Tuesday 8/17 from 9-10:30 a.m.

•What to wear:t-shirt shortsknee pads tennis/running/vb/bb shoes

•Practices begin before school starts from 9-11am; after school starts practice is held every day until 4:30 pm.

•Most games are Mondays or Wednesdays

Cross Country FAQs

•Boys open runs begin on July 13; boys mandatory practices begin August 9.

•Girls mandatory practice begins August 10.

•Meets and invitationals are on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

•What to wear: running shoes, sports watch, shorts, and t-shirt

•No tryouts or cuts.

•Practice starts August 2 at 9:00 a.m.•What to wear: shorts, t-shirt, tennis

shoes/cleats•Games are on Wednesdays, except the 7th

grade Blue-White game (Tuesday)•Practice is every school day through

September, and then in October you have Fridays off.

•No tryouts or cuts.
