Montgomery Moving Forward (MMF) is a collective impact initiative that allows an entire community to work toward a shared vision. In 2018,after a year of intensive learning and community engagement, MMF released a Call to Action for Early Care and Education in MontgomeryCounty. The Call to Action outlines priority activities to assure that all Montgomery County children enter kindergarten ready to learn. MMF ismobilizing a community conversation around ECE as an economic imperative for the future of the county. Montgomery Moving Forward is aninitiative of Nonprofit Montgomery, a 501c3 organization.

We convene and facilitate conversations around critical issues in Montgomery County. We produce issue-specific, data-driven documents to inform decision-making. We gain input from hundreds of community leaders to gain feedback on community issues through aninnovative and interactive set of community forums and learning opportunities. We mobilize a 40-member cross-sector Leadership Group to work for system-level changes to improvethe economic well-being of community residents.

Sponsor the Launch of a New ECE Toolkit for Employers! Thanks to the support and investment of both the public and private

sectors at last year’s Symposium, MMF will launch the Early Care and

Education Toolkit for Employers, a web-based resource for employers

and parents in Montgomery County.

The ECE Toolkit was developed by a team of local employers and child care experts, and it was created in response

to the goals set forth in MMF's Call to Action for Early Care and Education. MMF seeks sponsors for the launch of the

ECE Toolkit in conjunction with this year's Symposium to insure this new resource has maximum reach and impact.
