DAY 3

Breakfast, Outback Lunch, Dinner

Your morning starts with a visit to the

spectacular Hu Lagoon (Pink Lake). Watch

the bubble-gum pink lake unfold as you drive

between Port Gregory and Kalbarri. The

lagoon gets its unusual pinkish hue from the

high salinity of the water. Afterwards, visit the

Murchison River Gorge, Nature’s Window

and Z-Bend in Kalbarri Na onal Park. The

183,000-hectare national park is filled with

400 million-year-old river gorges, dramatic

coastal rock formations and is home to a

large species of flora and fauna. Continue

your drive and explore the dramatic coastal cliffs of Kalbarri’s Red Bluff, which offers

amazing views over the ocean. Head back to

Geraldton’s buzzing foreshore for dinner.

Begin your vacation with a pleasant flight to

Perth, the capital of Western Australia. Upon

your arrival, transfer to the hotel to check in.

DAY 2

Breakfast, Lunch, Hotel Dinner

Start your day with an exciting adventure to

Lancelin Sand Dunes and experience the

thrill of downhill sandboarding. Continue

your journey north along the Indian Ocean

Drive, stop at Jurien Bay, a relaxed fishing

town boasting long sandy beaches. As you

drive towards Geraldton, keep an eye out for

the leaning trees of Greenough. Buffeted by

prevailing southerly winds, the trees’

horizontal trunks have become something

of an icon for the region. Drive pass St Francis Xavier’s Cathedral and make a quick

photo stop at the HMAS Sydney II Memorial, which commemorates the 645 men who

lost their lives aboard the vessel in WWII.

Spend the night in Geraldton.

Breakfast, ½ Lobster Lunch

This morning, consider taking a scenic flight

and enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the Pink Lake

at your own expense. Continue south to

reach the rock lobster capital of Cervantes

in time for a fresh lobster lunch before

heading to Nambung Na onal Park. Visit the

Pinnacles Desert, Australia’s most unique and

fascinating natural landscapes that were

formed over millions of years ago, resulting

in thousands of tall limestone spires rising

out of the desert. Head back to Perth for

your overnight stay.

Note: Children will be offered fish & chips for lunch.
