DINNER OVERVIEW
LUNCHEON
EVENT IMPACT
The Book & Author Luncheon, to be held on April 30th at the Country Club of Virginia, offers
guests the opportunity to dine with an author at their table and to have their books
autographed. Seating is limited to approximately 75 guests.
The Book & Author Event offers sponsors a variety of opportunities to interact with best-
selling authors, League members, and the Richmond community. Last year’s event raised
over $56,000 to assist the League in its mission to promote volunteerism, develop the
potential of women, and improve communities through effective action and leadership of
trained volunteers. Community programming is delivered with a focus on the East End of
Richmond and supports health & wellness, character development and family engagement.
