Junior League of Richmond proudly presents the 69th Annual Book & Author Event Wednesday, April 30, 2014 DINNER OVERVIEW LUNCHEON EVENT IMPACT The Book & Author Luncheon, to be held on April 30th at the Country Club of Virginia, offers guests the opportunity to dine with an author at their table and to have their books autographed. Seating is limited to approximately 75 guests. The Book & Author Event offers sponsors a variety of opportunities to interact with best- selling authors, League members, and the Richmond community. Last year’s event raised over $56,000 to assist the League in its mission to promote volunteerism, develop the potential of women, and improve communities through effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Community programming is delivered with a focus on the East End of Richmond and supports health & wellness, character development and family engagement.
