Bulletin/Hofheimer 68 Odd Ball Antics records set A total of 68 Mountain Home Odd-Ball Antics swim meet re- cords were broken Saturday at the second annual swimming of the event. Although swimmers in dif- ferent age categories competed at the same time, their times were applied only to those in their age group. In many instances, there was only one person in each age- / gender group, but most races were won in times tter than those established last year. For women 18-24, Sandra Wel- born won the 50-meter freestyle and the 100-individual medley; Teresa Jones won the 25- backstroke and the 2butterfly; Leslie Kunath won the 25-and 50-· breastroke. Women 30-34: Vickey Flow won the 25-freestyle and backstroke and Pat Hendershott was second in the 25-freestyle. Women 35-39: Hope Vowell won the 25-freestyle, 50-frstyle, 100- f reestyle, 400-freestyle, 25- backstro ke, 50-bac kstroke, 25-butterfly, 50-butterfly and 100- individual medley. Only in the 100- freestyle did she fail to establish a new record. Women 40-44: Ida Hlavacek competed in the same nine events, winning them all in record times. In the mixed 1-medley relay, Jones, M. Wilson, hmuecker and Welborn at Kunath, Ku- nath, B. Wilson and Loar. ·1n the mixed 18-24 freestyle ' realy, M. Wilson, B. Wilson, Stone and Kunath edged hmuecker, Kunath, Jones and Loar by .23 seconds. Bank, Hlavacek, Rawn and Len- sini swam the mixed 35 and over 1-medley relay in 108.59. Bank, Hlavacek, Lensini and Flow swam the fastest of any 100-reay of the day, a 1: 00.57 freestyle. - H. Vowell, T. Vowell, J. Vowell and Falmler swam an exhibition l'freestyle in 108.69. Odd-Ball Antics swim meet records were broken Saturday at the second annual swimming of the event. Although swimmers in different age categories competed at the same time, their times were applied only to those in their age group. In many instances, there was only one person in each age/ gender group, but most races were won in times better than those established last year.
For women 18-24, Sandra Welborn won the 50-meter freestyle and the 100-individual medley; Teresa Jones won the 25-backstroke and the 25-butterfly; Leslie Kunath won the 25-and 50-· breastroke.
Women 30-34: Vickey Flow won the 25-freestyle and backstroke and Pat Hendershott was second in the 25-freestyle.
