This is the story of 6314 Rosebriar Lane
from 2003-2012…….
Although we have been married for forty-fo
ur years, this is t
he first house we have
ever owned. Moving to North Carolina nine years ago we looked at many houses. W
hen
we walked into this house we knew it was the house we wanted. It has proved to be the
“perfect” house for us.
We moved here to
be closer to our first gr
andchild who was two months old at the
time. We are leaving now to be closer to
our now seven grandchildren, who are all up and
down the east coast. We leave with very m
ixed feelings as it has been a wonderful nine years
for us. It is the only house our grandchildren have known and I know that they will always
have fond memories of this place. Th
ey have made best friends with our neighbor’s children
and have spent countless hours in the cul de sac riding bikes and scooters a
nd playing ball.
We have loved the proximity of Thornhill to everything…movies, sh
opping, hiking/
biking trails, church, and medical facilitie
s. You can find just about anything you would
ever need within a three to five mile ra
dius. We jokingly te
ll people we can walk to six
different Starbucks!
The thing we have most appreciated about Thornhill and especially about Rosebriar
Lane are the friends and neighbors that we have made over the years. It
is an ethnically
diverse neighborhood. There are families f
rom Italy, Japan, China, India and Peru right
on our street. We’ve held cul de sac parties e
ncouraging everyone to share their own special
dishes. It has brought neighbors together and helped us all to know and appreciate each
others cultures.

e here has been very special. We hope you will lov
e this home as much as
we have and that you and your children and or grandchildren will create your own special
story.
