CHASTITY AND SAFE

ENVIRONMENT PROGRAM

All lessons the teachers�teach about Chastity and Safe Environment are online at the Rockford Diocese website�www.ceorockford.org�.�A parent meeting will be held on�Wed., Nov.15th at 6:30 PM�in the school library. This is�NOT�a mandatory meeting as all information is online. �

The Book of Remembrance will be located in the front of the lectern in the church starting

Nov.1st. You are invited to write the names of your departed

loved ones in the book during the month of November. �

The annual Thanksgiving dinner for the

senior citizens of our community will be

held on Sun., Nov. 19th at St. Mary’s

Parish Center, Bales Hall at 1:00 PM.

Carry-outs will be available from

11:30-12:30 PM that day with the limit of

2 meals per family. All meals are free of

charge.

Pies are needed for the Thanksgiving

Senior Dinner and they can be dropped

off to the Parish Center kitchen on

Sat., Nov. 18th from 12-4 PM or

Sun., Nov. 19th before 10:00 AM

Sterling American Legion #296 will host a Thanksgiving Dinner for all area Veteran’s on Thurs., Nov. 23rd in the Legion Hall at 601 1st Ave. Dinner is free for Veteran with 1 guest and dependent children. Reservations are required by Nov. 11th. Please stop at Post 296 or call 815-625-1212 for available seating time. 1st seating is at 11:00 AM. Current Veterans Organization Membership Card or DD214 must be shown at door.

The Dixon K of C Council #690 will be serving Thanksgiving Dinner on Thurs., Nov. 23rd at the Kay Cee Hall, 506 W. 3rd St., Dixon, IL, from 12-3 PM. This dinner invitation is for everyone in the Sauk Valley area and is free of charge. Lee County Council on Aging will provide transportation to and from the dinner in the Dixon area, for those who need rides. Arrange a ride by calling 815-288-9236 by Nov., 21st. Deliveries in the Dixon area will also be made available by calling Betty at 815-288-4775 or the Hall at 815-288-1821. �

Registration for Toys for Tots will be held on Thurs., Nov.16th from
