Welcome to The Original!

With a heart in craft and a soul dedicated to quality, we have created an entirely new experience for our guests to enjoy here at 60 Molly’s Lane in Brown County, Indiana. After a collective ten years as Big Woods Brewing Co. and Big Woods the Original, our cozy little restaurant has stayed in the Big Woods Restaurant Group family, but has taken on its own name, a re-imagined menu, and an all-new look.

The Original — named as an homage to its former life and a nod to its status as the first and only of its kind within the family — features a menu designed around foods that spark happy thoughts and nostalgia-tinted memories. We’ve taken our favorite Midwestern and Southern comfort foods and added our own, elevated twist, for a dining experience that’s both fresh and familiar.

We’ve paired our food with a new cocktail menu crafted around locally made, premium spirits from Hard Truth Distilling Co. And, for our beer-drinking friends, the taps continue to flow heartily and with gusto, serving up Brown County-made Quaff ON! ales.
