Players: team A team is a group of footballers playing together. There are 20 teams in the Premier League. English Vocabulary: 1. Example: defenders Defenders play at the back of the team. The job of a defender is to stop the attacks of the other team. English Vocabulary: 2. Example: captain The captain is the leader of the team. The two captains shake hands before the game. English Vocabulary: 3. Example: full-backs Full-backs play at the sides of the defence. Many full-backs also help the team to attack. English Vocabulary: 4.
