Development of Culture

• In all cultures, there must be a social structure.• A social structure is a pattern of

organized groups of people in a society.• These groups of people must

work together to have a functional society.

a mother, father, and their children.

Extended FamilyAn extended family is a

family of several generations. An extended

family can include grandparents, aunts, uncles,

cousins, and in-laws.

Language

• All cultures have language.• People learn their cultures mainly

through language.• People who speak different

Religion

• Religion can be an important part of every culture.

• Religion helps people make sense of the world.

• There are many different religious beliefs across the world.
