Parish Information

New Members: We are delighted to have you join our parish family! Registration forms are available in the narthex and in the parish office. They can be mailed, turned into the parish office, or dropped in the collection basket. Come by the church office for a Welcome Packet. Mass Intentions: Please stop by the parish office to offer a Mass intention for a loved one. Baptism: Family must be registered and participate in the life of the Parish. For more information on specific requirements, baptismal preparation, class dates and available Baptism dates, contact the parish office.

Matrimony: Arrangements must be made at least six months prior to the wedding date. Couples must schedule an appointment with the parish priest to secure a date on the parish calendar and begin preparation. Hospital/Homebound/Nursing Homes: Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion take communion to the homebound. Family members should call the parish office to inform us about those who are ill.

Altar Flower Donations: To honor or memorialize a loved one with a gift of altar flowers, call or stop by the parish office. Arrangements are $80.

Bulletin and Pulpit Announcements: Items to be published in the bulletin or announced during Mass are due in the parish office by 9:00AM on FRIDAY the week before they are to be published.

Thanks you for your continuous

support. In October your contributions

helped 21 families in need of food and

assisted 26 families with the utilities,

rent and prescriptions in our

community.The total was $3,374. We

are having a food drive this weekend to

help replenish our inventory you can

leave you donations in the SVdP box in

the rear of the narthex. We still need

more volunteers in this ministry of

charity. Our next meeting will be Nov 26

at 7:00PM in Hedges Hall. Our help line

St. Vincent de Paul and Life

Teen are instrumental in

making sure the work is done

to make the Giving Tree a

success in our community. It is the generosity

of parishioners that ensures we help all

families that rely on the Giving Tree. As

before, select the tags that you wish to shop

for and return these presents (unwrapped) or

gift cards in increments of $15 or less to the

church office or narthex no later than

December 13th. Gift cards are an excellent

choice for teenagers. Please contact Mary

St. Matthew's parishioners have the opportunity of enjoying authentic "Music of the Season" performed by the Yargo Community Concert Band, under the direction of Joyce King, live and at our own Hedges Hall on Monday, December 17, at 7:00, playing for 45 min to an hour.
