Miami Ice: Poolside cocktailsMint is an anagram of mtn-i and a key
ingredient of that classic cocktail, the
mojito. What better way could there be
to kickstart our 5th Americas Showcase.
Incapital's Glenn Lotenberg hosted over
200 delegates and guests who enjoyed
mojitos served from a floating cocktail
bar in the pool. A great opportunity for
delegates to break the ice.
Wake up and smell the Coffee The maxim goes that you perform better if you have a healthy breakfast. So
thanks to Anthony Marciano at Maxim, delegates were able to gird their loins
for the day’s conference.
Conference & speed Networkingmtn-i’s CEO mike Tims opened the conference with an overview
of the events of the previous 12 months. He was joined by
a panel of experts including Rob Sowinski from Citi, Richard
Vagnoni from FINRA, Tom Haines from RBS, Samson Koo from
Advisors Asset Management, Deryk Rhodes from Incapital and
Jerome Merveille from Barclays. The day’s highlights were
the two speed networking sessions - the first in 40 degree
sunshine. Next year no suits!
Issuer showcaseBarclays Jerome Merveille chaired the popular Issuer
Showcase. Presentations came from Ana Maria Røsjø
at Eksportfinans, Anna Finnskog at Swedish Export
Credit, Tenzing Sharchok at The World Bank, Liam
Carden at CBA and Cormac Holohan at mtn-i.
Pre-awards Cocktail PartyAfter a long and hot day delegates enjoyed a reviving drink by the pool as a gentle
breeze caressed the palms. Hosted by PrinceRidge’s Joe Castelluccio, delegates
speculated on what the night might yield.
awards It was the moment everyone had been
waiting for... the presentation of the
Tims - mtn-i’s very own Oscars. Named
in honour of mtn-i’s founder & CEO, the
winners received their Awards from the
man himself.

rBs GolfFor those who weren’t feeling too rough, the
following morning many of the Structured
Notes world finest golfers took on the
challenge of the world famous Crandon Golf
course. Hosted by RBS’s Scott Lang - well
Scotland is the home of golf - our intrepid
players faced the challenge of this acclaimed
PGA course. Located on Key Biscayne island
with downtown Miami as a backdrop, there
were a few birdies but delegates were more
likely to hit an alligator than an albatross.
