Every living thing hascells they are unicellularcells and multicellularcells.
Some types of cells are
DNA cells, nerve cells, and blood cells.
You have more thanone million cells in yourbody.
Some examples oforganelles aremembrane, ribosome, nucleus, mitochondria, etc.

Tissues
By: Jorge Callejas Flefil
A tissue is an ensemble of cells. It
does not have to be identical but
has to be from the same origin. It
carries out an specific function.
There are only 4 types of tissues. The
tissues are nerve tissue, muscle
tissue, connective tissue, and
epithelial tissue.
Tissues get together to make organs

ORGANS
By:Andrea Castejon 5COrgan: organs are the main
functioning parts of
everyones bodies.
Organ examples are:
Your heart, brain, and
stomach. The major organs
of everyones body are in
muscular, nervous,
endocrin, circulatory ,etc.
Organs are formed from
lots of tissues and
combine to create organ
systems.

ORGAN SYSTEMS
BY: JOSE ARMANDO There are many kinds of organ
systems: The nervous system,
circulatory system, digestive systems
are just a few.
Organ systems are made up of
specific organs that do the same job.
These systems combine together to
create one organism such as the
human.

ORGANISMS
by:Francisco
Organisms were discovered long
time ago.T
here are organisms allover the world .
They all come in different shape
they wiggle and even float in
the air!
Organisms are made from millions
of cells.
Some organisms are invisible.
They can only been seen with a
microscope, but some are big such
as humans!

Circulatory SystemBy: Rebecca E. 5-C
What is the CirculatorySystemmade up of?
What is the Circulatory systemsfunction(job)?
The Circulatory System is
made up of the heart and
blood vessels known asarteries and veins.
It pumps blood throughout
your body through the
blood vessels. Blooddelivers oxygen and
nutrients to cells and carries
away carbon dioxide and
other waste materials.

Heart
By: Carlos Andres
Genie 5-C
Definition: A heart is a muscular
organ made out of muscles like
minimum about the size of a fist.
Its job is to pump blood through
out the vessels.
Other Information: Blood pumpsto the cells throughout the body. Also, the heart has fourchambers and the chambers arehallow inside. The 2 chambers
on top are called atria. The 2 lefton the bottom are calledventricles. Your heart also hasfour valves that let blood in andout of the chambers.

VEINS and ARTERIES
By: Joseph 5-C
ARTERIES VEINS
Arteries-are blood vessels
that carry oxygen-rich
blood out to your body.
Other information;
Arteries take blood
to your brain
Veins-a blood vessel that
carries blood low inoxygen content from the
body back to the bone.
Other information;
Veins take blood toyour heart

Respiratory System
By: Daniella 5C
Info from: Encarta kids 2009We breath, this happens because of our
lungs. Our lungs make us breath like this
Every living thing can breath, mammals breathand some fish have lungs. Lungs are theorgans that make us breath. It seems webreathe 20 times a minute and when we are
playing outside we breath 80 times a minute. This is how lungs work first the air in your alveoli
sends oxygen to your blood, the blood travelsin tubes called blood vessels. Second theoxygen and blood go to your heart .(theheart is like a big pump) The heart sends theblood and oxygen to the rest of your body. The arteries gladly accept the oxygen with
blood. After your body deposits oxygen ittakes away carbon dioxide in your veins andit plumps back to your heart. Your heartplumps the blood to your lungs and thecarbon dioxide goes into your alveoli.Types of organs in the system are:
lungs, trachea, diaphragm

Breathing-inhale-exhale
By: Eduardo Kafati
Inhaling is to breathe in and
exhaling is to breathe out.
Maybe you can see that that
when you go to the doctor he
tells you, Inhale, exhale,
inhale, exhale. Obviously ifyou dont inhale or if you
dont exhale you dieIn the
picture beside you can see
that carbon dioxide comes out
when you exhale (breathe
out) and oxygen is what youinhale (breathe in).

Digestive System
By: Daniel Massu
The Digestive system, is one long winding tube.
The food goes from yourmouth to your throat.
Then, it slides through a
tube called Esophagus. It
goes down to your stomach.
From there, its gets
squeezed into your small
and large intestines.
Where does the Digestivestart?
It starts in your mouth. When
you bite a piece of
sandwich, your teeth grind
the bite up. Thats when
your mouth gets liquid
called saliva. Saliva helps
make the bite chewed up
soft and wet.
What happens in your
stomach?
Your stomach breaks down
food even more, your
stomach is like a huge bag
of muscles.
The digestive system of a grown up personI about 20 to 30 feet, ( 6 to 9 meters) long.

DigestionBy:Nicholas Mcnab 5c
Do you ever wonder what happenswhen you eat a sandwich? Well, I'mgoing to tell you about what happenswhen you eat that sandwich. That
sandwich goes through a wholejourney. When you eat it first goes toyour mouth and there your teeth grindit into a paste with help from saliva.
Then it goes to your stomach andwhen it is there it gets bathed inhydrologic acid that kills mostcontaminating microorganisms andbegins mechanical break down ofsome food, and the chemicalalteration of some. After two hoursthe resulting thick liquid is calledchyme. This chyme goes to the small
intestine, where 95% of absorption ofnutrients occurs , through the largeintestine, and are excreted duringdefecation (when you go to thebathroom).

Nervous system
By Tethey
A nervous is a network that is
make of nervous cells
the brain gives a messages to
the nervous system so that
it tells your body what to
do.
The nervous system is madeup of the brain, spinal cord,
and nerves

MUSCULAR SYSTEM
BY: CRISTOBAL NAVAS
Your muscular systems is found in
all of body. Each muscle has to get
shorter that takes all of the bones
energy to move a arm. The
muscle help you to breathe,
speak, and to blink your eyes.
Some muscle need all the energyof all the bones to jump. When
you move a finger you move at
least 7 different muscles. We also
need aware muscular system
because it help us think and even
when you are sitting down in a
sofa. Your muscles need moreenergy than every other muscle
so you have to eat healthy food
and not junk food.

Skeletal System
By: Jose Andres Perez
The skeletal system is all the bonesand tissues in your body. Thosetissues are tendons, ligaments, andcartilage. Many bones protect softparts in your body. Our blood ismade in the center of the bones. The skull bones in your headprotect the brain. Muscles andbones let you sit, walk, and stand. The center of a bone is filled with abone marrow, and the bone
marrow is very soft. The skeleton ismade up of all the bones that worktogether. Some examples of bonesin the skeletal system are skull, pelvis, humerus ,shinbone, andcoccyx.

Endocrine SystemBy: Alejandro Raudales 5-C
The endocrine system is made out
of glands. IT is the chemical body
messenger that sends hormones to
parts in
Some endocrine glands are:
Pituitary gland
Pineal glandThyroid gland
Parathyroid gland
Some no endocrine organs are:
Heart

Excretory Systemby: Maria Isabel Sacasa 5-C
The Excretory System:
The job of the excretorysystem is to get rid ofvarious produced by the
body. This is calledexcretion. It is extremelyimportant for our body toremove these waste, alsoknown as toxic.
Examples of organs:
Sweat glands
Kidneys Lungs
Etc.

BY:Andres sempe
Definition : The Integumentary system is the
largest organ system in humans, this system
accounts about 16 percent of total body
weight and covers 1.5-2m squared of surface
area.
It distinguishes, separates, protects and
informs the animal with regard to its
surroundings.Epidermis
For example here is the picture.

REST
BY:VALERIAWILDT
5-C
Definition: Scientist are not sure
why people have to sleep. There
are some ideas like: people
neither animals sleep so
keeping us safe, animals +
people cant see in the dark it is
hard to see, people could sneak
in the night to kill animals
wandering in the night etc.
Scientists have studied what
happens when you fall asleep.
Sleep might also help yourbody
workbetter. Things go wrong
when you dont get that enough
rest. It is hard to work think
and play unless you get plentyof rest. Some things that
happen when your asleep your
eye balls can go back and forth.
Ourbody works really fast when
you`re asleep. Scientists call
thisREM sleep.
