    1. Introduction.

The intent of this narrative report is to present a description of how the Subcontractor

has formulated his detailed program of work. This narrative when read in conjunction

with the detailed program shall explain the sequence, logic and planning methodology

utilized by the Subcontractor when constructed his baseline program.

The Subcontractor has used a licensed Primavera Project Planner P3.1 Version to

develop this program and all the related manpower calculations and histograms and

    resources.

    1.1. Contents

This program narrative consists of the following detailed Sections:

    2. Contractual Compliance

This program has been developed based on the correspondences received from the

Contractor which are related to the accessibility to site constraints, also it defines clearly

the contractual milestones specified for the project completion and trials. Also it is to be

noted that all the contractually specified durations have been taken into consideration in

    this program.

Moreover the sequence and breakdown structure has been also developed based on

the instructions received from the Contractors planning department.

The below schematic Diagram shows the airport phasing according to the priorities

    defined by the Contractor.

The entire Subcontractors scope of work includes the areas defined as Phase II.

Each Phase of the above phases has been internally divided into areas in which each

area has been later divided into floors/levels as per the following schematic diagram.

    4. Program Structure and Logic.

The program has been divided in addition to the previous two classifications to three

general global levels, under each level there are different types of classifications

according to the discipline or the physical sequence needed as per the following chart:

Accordingly, the program Layout has been organized using the above different levels of

organization and the activities have been Identified in the same manner as per the

    following table.

This structure is also matching with the general structure specified by the Contractor

and sent to the Subcontractor via e-mail sent on 9 th March 2011.

The Accessibility to site also has been provided to the Subcontractor from theContractor via an email sent on 7 th march 2011, where there is clear identification for

the Access for each individual building and individual level.

The access dates shows in some buildings that the Subcontractor, will be having

access to the same level twice as per the restriction due to the existence of the statue.

It is to be noted that this access in order to be beneficial for the Subcontractor and to

help better progress on site, the access shall be preceding by the completion of all the

following activities to avoid any interruption or disruption of the Subcontractors work:

    I. Completion of All Duct works.

    II. Completion of Cable trays.

    III. Completion of Conduits.

IV. Completion of Drainage Pipe works.V. Completion of Fire Protection Works.

    VI. Completion of Plumbing Works.

VII. Completion of all any other Mechanical/ Electrical works.

The Subcontractor will not proceed with installation of sub frames or paneling until

access document is officially signed off as being complete, by all responsible interfacing

    or preceding Subcontract Trades.

The construction activities have been developed starting from the access date

milestone that has been constrained with an early start constraint as specified by the

Contractor followed by all the subsequent activities.

As per the project specifications and the suppliers specification with reference to DIN

EN 13964, the installation of any acoustical panels will require a controlled environment

in terms of Temperature as well as the Humidity, this will require the Contractor to give

the Subcontractor the access associated with a closed envelop and supplied with a wild

air in order to control the Temperature and the Humidity.

Therefore, the Contractor is required to provide a schedule of the faade works

completion dates along with the wild air required for the installation process and this will

be again incorporated in the program.

The regimen of access controls to a great extent the peaks of the Manpower needed as

the access to the all buildings will be mostly given to each bundle of buildings in one

time span, this controls the existence of the Subcontractors manpower and creates

peaks and dips in the manpower histogram.

All the subsequent activities are linked to this start milestone as well as to the related

activity that has direct physical relation with this activity. Also all the construction14

site, this have controlled the closure of all open ends and ensures proper critical path

    development.

The program has included some control activities that could be the driving factor to

proceed with the next step, in all cases these driving activities are related or should be

given by the Contractor to allow the Subcontractor to proceed forward. One of these

critical control activities is the receipt of the chandleries locations and hanging point that

will be affecting the commencement of design of the Subcontractors substructure and

bridging drawings and accordingly will affect the production of the substructure and

    panel materials.

At the end of each phase, there is a particular section defining the finish milestone dates

for that particular phase as well as the project opening and trials.

    5. Subcontractors Material quantity and manpower

    Loading

In order for better monitoring and controlling over the project, the program has been

fully loaded with the material quantity. This will help the Subcontractor to clearly

determine the required material from each type of the ceiling material for a certain

period, and to help the control over the inventory.

The Manpower histograms also help the Control over the required number of Manpower

per month or even per week. This will provide a clear image about the peaks that need

    special measurements.
