7. Remove the 4 Allen head bolts
from the counter weight. Remove the counter weight.
8. Mark the position of the front
drum panel against the sensor plate perpendicularly.
9. Release the clamps of the front
drum panel. Mind the shape of the clamps so they are not deformed by the action – Do not hammer them, just push them! OR

Use a strong wire to pull them off from the front panel and avoid clamp deformations.
10. Remove the front panel.
A screwdriver can be used to loosen the front panel from the drum. Be careful to avoid any damage. Any damage will result in leaking.
11. Inspect the rubber sealing of the
front panel. If it is in good condition, verify it sticks on through its groove. If it is loose on some places, re-glue it using a SMALL quantity of silicone and let it dry. If the sealing rubber is NOT in good condition, remove the sealing from the front panel, clean the groove and adhere a new sealing #PRI504000031. Use silicone. When gluing the sealing, make sure it is not bent or warped and that it fits perfectly all around without sticking out. Respect the necessary drying time.

12. After releasing the belt tension,
remove the belts. Remove the security screw at the back of the pulley.
13. Install the center bolt M12x25
# 518940. Turn in it tight until the bold head touches the shaft.
14. Use a standard puller to remove
the pulley from the wash drum shaft. Remove the tolerance ring from the main shaft.

15. Push the drum shaft out of the
trunnion, using a standard 2-arm puller. Verify that the 2 hooks properly hook into the trunnion openings and catch the trunnion adequately. Before pushing, verify once more that the tolerance ring has been removed from drum shaft.
16. As soon as the main shaft
becomes loose from the bearings seats, remove the puller. Remove the center bolt and turn-in the extension rod #530112. Turn it hand tight against the top of the main shaft.
17. Carefully remove the drum.
Do this very carefully to avoid damage to the drum graphite sealing (if it doesn’t need to be replaced).

18. Place the drum on 2 wooden
beams so that the drum opening does not get damaged. If the drum sealing doesn’t need to be replaced, go to step # 20.
19. Remove the Counter Face Ring
from the drum shaft (use a screw driver or a wrench to release it). Clean the seat of the drum shaft Counter Face Ring around its diameter. Do not alter the fitting dimensions. Remove all loose dust and dirt using a clean cloth.
20. Remove the seal holder from the
internal side of the tub. If the drum sealing doesn’t need to be replaced, go to step # 24.
Re-assembling the Counter Face Ring onto the drum shaft must follow certain steps. For this purpose use the Service Instructions 518345. Failing to do so, will jeopardize the function of the sealing and reduce the life time of the shaft.
