Alastair Heath-Wilson is the son of the Secretary of State for education. A young, well-educated teenager, he
chooses to snub a privileged education and mingle with the kids from his new neighbourhood at Zap Jr. High, a dilapidated school on the wrong side of the tracks.
Zap Jr High is home for a bunch of kids eager to remain united in spite of their (huge) differences.
Alastair and his pals always try and push the system. They never run out of funny ideas on how to improve their daily life, be it by suggesting a school outing, finding a way to lessen the weight of student book bags or even redrafting the school’s regulations. Bearing in mind the chronic underfunding of the school, the wacky teachers and the unrestrained behaviour of the students themselves, any new idea at Zap Jr. High takes an unexpected twist!!
Fuelled by teen concerns, Zap Jr. High is a slapstick comedy with a pinch of nonsensical humour.
