Teela says.....“Hey, a Happy New Year to you, if I’ve not already spoken to you yet so far.

Coming back from Floridian temperatures in the 70’s to this was a shock to the system, I can tell you but Dave and I had a great time over there. We basked in the glorious sunshine, we walked, we took photos, we ate (a lot), we drank, we spent time with friends, we shopped, we read and we even had our Christmas Dinner on the balcony of our apartment!! It was a lovely break but geared up now, and ready to go!!!!

Before the end of last year, Transpose had a fantastic offer and I am delighted to say, was taken up by lots and lots of you and you kept me busy and on my toes. A selection of the girls who took up the offer are featured later on. We will be having a similar offer around March/April time this year, so keep a look out for details.

I was invited by Tilly to QVC’s VIP day at their Beauty Bash which was held in London earlier this year. We had a great time and came away with lots of freebies,. I’m sure Tilly will tell you all about it in her blog. Thanks Tilly, for an amazing day!

Well hello gorgeous girlies,

I hope you all had a fabulous Christ-mas and New Year – although if like me it all seems like a distant mem-ory now!! I must say I missed not swanning around Florida with Teela and Dave, maybe they might take pity and have me padding around with them this year woohoo.

Before Christmas I was invited to attend the QVC Beauty Bash in Is-lington, London, I should think so!! The amount of advertising I do for them lol so a couple of weeks ago Teela and I set off for an exciting adventure in our lovely capital. Ex-cept it wasn’t so lovely lol, firstly it was freezing and we chose possibly the most cavernous hotel in England with what can only be described as a very compact and bijoux bath-room! Good job we the best of friends I can tell ya;)!

After partaking of a sumptuous breakfast (and me hiding a couple of muffins in case we got caught short) we met up with a couple of other ladies bound for the Bash. As ever nothing is ever smooth and after scraping up one of our co-adven-turers off the floor (long story) we shared a cab and got there in one piece – well eventually, after the for-eign taxi driver who clearly did not have English as a first language and who clearly must have purchased his sat-nav in his hometown, eventually dropped us off.

With great excitement we ditched our accoutrements and headed for all the goodies. I can honestly say we had the most fabulous time, we got lots of freebies, I had two facials, one foot massage, got sprayed with enough perfume to guarantee entry into a Turkish brothel and two make-overs (see what I do for you all....the stress of wanting to try every-thing so I can blog lol). As ever Tee-la was the epitome of decorum and I never shut up asking questions and sticking fingers into every available pot!

Along with all of this excitement Tee-la and I were interviewed and asked to appear on QVC, the process was simple................. ask a question! This would be used to lead into live demonstrations on TV, Teela flew ef-fortlessly through hers whilst I had to have three takes to ‘condense’ my enthusiasm to 30 seconds of fame not the same as 15 minutes I can tell ya! Having said that I got ‘aired’ three times the following Saturday and was recorded by Dave on their Tivo box so he could continually re-play for a giggle, he then went on to record it on his phone and email it – Oh lord! Scouse Wag tanned heffer springs to mind lol – oh well onwards and upwards maybe I’ll be discov-ered one day ha ha.

After causing a riot at the Bash we went exploring and found ourselves in Camden Town - woooo market yay, we thought we’d have a wan-der and bumped into a couple of young Asian stall keepers who were real sweethearts, after I had had them search every rack, shed, van and closet to find my size in various tops one of them had the misfortune to show me a lovely embroidered cardigan - my heart was lost and

after haggling for best part of an hour and the young’un being aban-doned by his pal, I finally managed to get the said gorgeous cardy plus a top for less than half the price of the cardy RESULT! - Teela nick-named us the “Heswall Hagglers” lol - I think the poor boy was glad to see the back of us - not to mention Teela was probably sick of the sound of my voice!!

Woohoo luv our outings :)

That’s about it for this month’s ex-citement – I shall endeavour to get back to delving into the dark chasms of my various handbags in our next edition – unless of course Teela and I go off on another adven-ture...................till then ladies re-member moisturise, moisturise and moisturise again this weather is seri-ously damaging to silky skin.

We told you in the last Newsletter that Transpose regular, Wendy, was entering the Miss Alternative Liverpool pageant and promised to report on how she did.

Well, after making a memorable entrance - tripping and staggering on stage for her first appearance, Wendy didn’t manage to make the final. This girl can dance in the highest heels, so her unfortunate stumble was obviously down to a bit of nerves.

Wendy told us “it was a fan-tastic experience and I would definitely do it again next year. The best part was the back

stage banter with all the other contestants, just brilliant”.

Our very own Rache Adams had a feature published in Transliving International, telling the story of how Rache came to be and in the next edition Caroline has her re-markable story in print, so looking forward to reading that.

Good luck also to all the girls en-tering the Ultimate Fashion Show in Liverpool on the 9th March -something to look forward to!! We will let you know how they get on next time.

Let me introduce you to the lovely Dawn Monroe who is a Transpose regular. Dawn has been coming to Trans-pose for over five years now and when I say regular, I mean, every month!! Can you imagine how many pictures Dawn has now in her collection? Dawn has

seen the company grow from the early days at the “Shed” right through to our current cushy studio and as I have progressed with my pho-tography, Dawn has progressed

with her own feminine style and has so much more confidence

now than the shy girl I met all those years ago. Dawn was featured once as girl of the month years ago and I am delighted to feature her again - more confident and glam-orous than ever!
