NOTE.—There are many repetitions i n the whole volume. The translation of many of the
works is attributed to the celebrated translators i n the n inth century, as, JINA-MITRA, D A ' N A -
SHILA, SURENDRA BODHI, P R A J N A ' V A R M A , &C. and BANDE' Y E ' S I I / S - S D E ' ; but, I th ink they
had no part in the translation of several of them, judging from the contents of these works, and
of other large treatises translated elsewhere by them. A n d it is stated by Tibetan writers, that the
