All students have been involved in Project Based Learning where they have interviewed relatives of West Wyalong’s war heroes. They have developed information reports, PowerPoint presentations and artworks based on their research and information obtained from interviews. This Wednesday our Stage 3 teachers and students will be hosting a presentation of their project based learning to the families involved. I would like to congratulate Stage 3 staff and students on their drive and determination to produce accurate, relevant pieces of work. This is quality teaching and learning at its best! This Friday is our final Orientation Day for Kindergarten 2018. We have loved having these new students in our school and look forward to seeing them again next year. This Friday is also our 2 for 1 Book Fair in the Library which is always a great place to get in early for Xmas presents. REMINDER: School Swimming and Water Safety Program Students in Year 2 and selected students from Year 3 will begin their swimming program on Monday 27th November (nest week) which will continue daily for two weeks. Each child should bring swimming costume, a towel, blouse or shirt, a hat, sunscreen and warm clothing on a cool day.
Stage 2 Swimming for Sport Students in Years 3 & 4 have begun swimming for sport. Students must remember to bring their swimmers, towel, sunscreen, hat and the correct entry fee each week (unless they have a season pass).

SCHOOL NEWS BOOKCLUB
Issue 8 brochures for Book Club have been sent home. This is the final Bookclub for the year and a great opportunity for you to purchase fantastic books (etc) for your children or to
give for Christmas presents. Everything you buy from Bookclub earns us rewards points that we use to obtain loads
of great new books to use at school. Thank you for supporting this throughout 2017.
