clients
Draw up a description of your ideal client who should be someone you enjoy doing business with
Amelia Pond lives at 44 Acacia Avenue, London She is 34, married with two children and runs her own

380/20 rule
20% of your clients will bring in 80% of your business
Keep in touch with your clients Setup an email newsletter (Mailchimp is free) Create a blog (great for bringing traffic to your website if you
host it yourself and blog regularly) Think about how to get your existing clients to buy other
services from you. If you are a graphic designer and they have bought business cards, suggest flyers or a redesign of the website

4Monitor your
activity
There are lots of tools available to monitor when you are mentioned and far your influence goes. Ones I recommend include:
(Google Alert) When you are mentioned on the internet (Twilert) When you are mentioned on Twitter (Tweetreach)To monitor how far a tweet goes Klout and Kred can be interesting as they mention your overall
influence across social media
Don’t forget to setup Google Analytics on your website (if you can’t do this yourself then ask your website developer)
