In 2012 US President Obama signed the Jumpstart Our Business Startups (JOBS) Act to make it easier for small businesses to raise capital.
One of its provisions is expected to make crowdfunding models legal and safe.
A decade ago there was a clamor to 'get to the table' and to become part of the business. Today, many effective HR professionals are already at the table and need to know what to do now they are there.
