B & R Industrial Controller with Touch Screen Commands

The SmartShop II is the complete package, designed by Laguna Tools especially for industries such as cabinetmaking, plastic processing, sign making, and 3D machining. The new Laguna SmartShop 2 CNC includes a 48” x 48” table with 7.5HP liquid-cooled electro-spindle. The machine includes helical rack-and-pinion drive control on both X and Y axes with ball screw control on the Z axis. The drive system also includes precision-ground contoured guide rails on all axes to ensure machine accuracy. A universal six-zoned vacuum table is mounted on a one-piece, uni-welded steel base providing optimum strength and longevity. The powerful Laguna Touch Controller (developed with B&R Automation) makes the machine easy-to-learn and easy-to-operate. The SmartShop II is compatible with virtually all CAD/CAM packages.
