TOURNAMENT RULES

1. ELIGIBILTY: Open to all members of the United States Bowling Congress. Entrants must show current USBC membership cardor must pay current USBC dues for an unattached membership prior to bowling. PROFFESSIONAL BOWLERS ASSOCIATION(PBA) members are NOT ALLOWED to bowl. Rule change ***

2. TOURNAMENT SITE: SAM'S TOWN BOWLING CENTER, 5111 Boulder Highway, LasVegas, NV 89122-6004

3. TOURNAMENT DATES: February 5 (Mon) & February 6 (Tue), 20184. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Entry closing date is January 20, 2018. All entries postmarked the first post office day after

the entry closing date will be accepted. All entry fees must accompany the entry form.5. PARTICIPATION: This tournament is classified as mixed handicap competition.

Each Team will consist of 4 bowlers (comprising any combination of all men, women or mixed).Men and Women will compete on an equal basis.Each bowler will bowl four (4) games each day, total of eight (8) games.

6. ENTRY FEE: Entry fee is $70.00 per bowler $280.00 per team.Entries received without ALL entry fees WILL BE RETURNED.

7. REFUND: There will be NO REFUND, after closing date.8. PRIZE REPORTING: Any bowler who has qualified for cash and/or merchandise prize money won in excess of $300 in a singles

event, the combined prize money won in excess of $500 in a tournament, and/or the combined prize money won in excess of$1000 in tournaments competed within 12 months must report their actual score, position and amount won to the tournament manager prior to bowling for possible re-rating. Such re-rating must be accomplished before the entrant bowls, and if not accepted, the entry fee shall be refunded. Failure to comply with these provisions shall be cause for forfeit of entry fee and prize winning. (See USBC rule 319d.)

9. ENTERING AVERAGE:A) Highest COMPOSITE Standard average of all certified leagues (2015-16 & 2016-17)B) If bowler does not have a 2015-16 or 2016-17 average he/she will use highest Certified Standard average as of Jan 20, 2018 for 21 or more games (standing sheet must be provided with entry form.C) If a bowler ONLY has a Sport or Challenge certified league average, the bowlers average will be adjusted based on the USBC Sport or Challenge Average Adjustment Chart. Rule change ***D) If a bowler with averages established on a standard/house condition and on sport and/or challenge conditions,no conversion of averages is required and the bowler would enter with the highest average.E) All others will bowl scratch 180 for Women & 200 for Men(USBC RULE 201 applies)-(USBC RULE 319a1 & 319b applies)-(USBC RULE 319a2 “Ten Pin Rule” does not apply).

10. AVERAGE ADJUSTMENT: USBC Rule 319e “AVERAGE ADJUSTMENT FOR ENTRY” will apply.

11. AVERAGE VERIFICATION: Average of winners will be verified prior to issuing prize monies.

12. HANDICAP: Handicap will be 80% of the difference between the bowlers entering average and 235. Rule change ***13. CHECK IN TIME: Bowling starts promptly @ 10 am (both days), check-in begins at 9am (both days)

14. REPLACEMENTS: Team Captains may make replacements by reporting such replacements to tournament office prior to the scheduled bowling time.

15. ORDER OF BOWLING: Teams will bowl in the order submitted on the entry form.Only the tournament manager may grant exceptions.

16. BOWLERS RESPONSIILITY: Bowlers are responsible for verifying their own average, whether submitted by the bowler, the team captain or others. If the submitted average is lower than required and results in more handicap, the bowlers score will be disqualified. If the submitted average is higher than required, prize winnings will be based on the submitted average.NO AVERAGE WILL BE VERIFIED BY TOURNAMENT OFFICAILS PRIOR TO BOWLING. Rule change ***

17. PRIZE DISTRIBUTION: Prize fund returned 100%. Prize money will be distributed at a ratio of at least one (1) for every eight (8) entries forDay 1 (4 games), TEAM w/HANDICAP will be awarded Mid Performance Bowling Balls (4).Day 2 (4 games), TEAM w/HANDICAP will be awarded Mid Performance Bowling Balls (4).OVERALL TEAM Handicap (8 GAMES) will be awarded High/Mid Performance Bowling Balls,Trophies or plaquesHIGHEST INDIVIDUAL HANDICAP 8-GAME TOTAL OPEN Male & Female, SENIOR (50+)Male & Female will be awarded Trophies or plaques

18. OFFICIAL SCORE: The computer printout provided by Sam's Town Bowling Center will be the official score.

19. TARDY BOWLERS: Bowlers who miss one or more frames by not being present and ready to bowl when it is their turn, shall be credited with zero (0) pins for those frames missed.

20. DISPUTES: The Tournament Manager will resolve any disputes based on tournament rules.

21. DRESS CODE: Approved attire includes shirts with sleeves, slacks, dress jeans, shorts, and skorts.The following is NOT allowed: tank tops, short-shorts, swim suits, spandex, and hats.All decisions of proper attire will remain with the tournament manager

22. USBC rules shall govern any rules not covered above.
