General information

Additive manufacturing is making successful inroads into industry. Using application examples from the industrial environment, technology suppliers

will demonstrate the added value to be gained from additive manufacturing in terms of quality, reliability, energy and costs.

Taking place on 24 April, the International Additive Manufacturing Symposium will provide examples of additive manufacturing in action. This industry

get-together is part of the Digital Factory trade fair and is aimed at manufacturing enterprises. Under the motto of “Mechanical Engineering as a User

of Additive Manufacturing”, the focus will be on practical examples from the field.

The program is rounded off with a Guided Tour, taking visitors to the Digital Factory hall, where exhibitors will showcase their additive manufacturing

solutions.

The Additive Manufacturing Academy within the Deutsche Messe Technology Academy is a partner of niedersachsenADDITIV – the center for

additive manufacturing. With the active support of the Hannover Laser Center, the Academy has evolved into a flagship institution for additive

manufacturing. Our cooperation with these institutions underlines the importance of the topic, putting the spotlight on practical applications of

industrial 3-D printing
