PEOPLES PARTICIPATION: MAIN PROBLEMS SUGGESTION FOR IMPROVEMENT PEOPLES PRIORITIES
Plantations are being failed as the same is not looked after after planting.
Locals be involved in the plantation and thereafter for its looking after.
Priority.
Climate is changing frequently and global warming is increasing. Maximum areas be planted to save invironment.
There is shortage of drinking and irrigated water in the area.
Safeguarding and cleaning of natural resources is required. Lift irrigation scheme be provided from Satluj at approx 4 Kms Span for irrigation.
Stray cattles are destroying the crops. Management for the stray cattles be done.
There is huge encroachment of govt land. All the encroachments be removed and stopped immediately.
Fodder shortage is increasing. BL plants be planted in private land as well as in UPF to meet the requirement of fodder.
There is no Rest House/Community Hall for Central programmes/meetings. A Community Hall be provided for the central functions/meetings.
The college facility is not available in the area. The same is at approx 40 Kms away from the areas. A college be opened at Kumarsain the Central Place.
