Welcome Home!Founders David and Bianca Lisonbee recently returned from serving a three-year mission for their church in Salvador, Brazil. We’re thrilled to have them back at 4Life® Global Headquarters! Read to learn more about their mission and plans for the future.


“Don’t ever give up on your dreams. Your vision is a powerful force to help you reach your goals.”

What was your daily life like in Brazil?We spent a few days each week at the mission office, reviewing the status of our missionaries in each area. We also spent time training the missionaries who worked in the office on receiving new missionaries and getting others ready to go home. The office missionaries oversaw the travel, rental, and upkeep of apartments, finances, and well-being of over 160 missionaries. The skills that the office missionaries learn serve them well throughout their lives. We spent other days visiting areas throughout our mission, some as far away as 800 miles. We spent a lot of time on the road, meeting local people and missionaries, and providing assistance.

What was your favorite aspect of your experiences in Brazil?We served with young people 18–21 years old. It was wonderful to watch them grow and change. Most of them arrived feeling timid and inexperienced. It was amazing to watch them shift focus from themselves and their girlfriends or boyfriends back home, and find joy in serving others. Their task was not easy, but they matured as they learned to do hard things. We also loved getting to know the wonderful people of Brazil. They have a very warm and loving culture.

What are you most excited to do now that you’re home?David: I’m excited to play with our grandkids, get back into day-to-day operations at 4Life®, and go golfing. Bianca: I’m eager to spend time with our grandkids, immerse myself in 4Life, and shop at my favorite stores.

What are your thoughts about the future of 4Life®?We have never been more excited about 4Life! We’re eager to work full-time at Global Headquarters again and help the company reach a new level of success. We truly feel like 4Life is on the verge of explosive growth, and we’re anxious to put into place ideas that can help us achieve it.

After living in two countries outside of the United States (Italy in 2009–2010 and now Brazil) we have an even stronger conviction that all of us, no matter where we live, want to enjoy meaningful relationships, financial security, and great health. Now more than ever, we believe that 4Life is the best way to help people achieve these things.*

What are three things you’d like to share with 4Life distributors?

1. Appreciate every moment of every day. While it’s important to plan for the future and learn from the past, it’s also critical to live in the present. It’s only in the present that we can make things happen!

2. Don’t ever give up on your dreams. While it may be necessary to adjust your course, never give up on what you want to accomplish. Your vision is a powerful force to help you reach your goals.

9 Steps of DuplicationIn a general sense, “to duplicate” means to make a copy that’s exactly like the original. In network marketing, duplication is one of the most powerful principles to achieve success. When you utilize a proven system, experience growth, and teach that system to your team members, your entire team can reach phenomenal heights. It’s important to work with your upline leader at every step of the process. Learn from the success of those who’ve gone before you!

Master the stepsStep 1: Define your dreams. Define your dreams, and make a plan to achieve them. At 4Life®, we call this your “why.” Write down your dream or create a vision board. Share your dream with your spouse, family members, and friends. However you define your “why,” make sure it’s strong enough to keep you motivated.

Step 2: Establish your goals. Goals have the power to create energy and momentum. It’s useful to break them up into smaller, achievable short-term goals with due dates. Reaching the Diamond rank should be the foundation for accomplishing any goal in your 4Life business. As you reach milestones, you will gain confidence and your team members will follow your lead.

Step 3: Determine your commitment level. Like any worthwhile endeavor, being a 4Life® distributor takes hard work and dedication. Your success will be determined by your level of commitment. Commit to the system, yourself, and your team members.

Step 4: Make a list of prospects. People are your primary resources. Your list of prospects will be your most precious asset to help you grow your business. Try to list at least 30 people to start, including people you feel would be most open to your invitation, such as family members and friends.

Step 5: Invite your prospects. There are a few different ways to invite people to learn more about 4Life. You can invite someone during a one-on-one meeting, an online conversation, or a phone call. You can even invite someone to watch a short video about 4Life.

Step 6: Hold two socials. Present 4Life to your prospects through what we call socials. These can be done in a webinar or social media group, over the phone, or in person—typically at someone’s home. Before you host your own social, attend one hosted by your upline leader to learn how to do it.

Step 7: Follow up. Set a time to follow up with your interested prospects. Give them 24–48 hours to review and process the information they received. During the follow-up, don’t argue with or pressure your prospects. No matter what they decide, consider this an opportunity to build relationships with everyone you meet.

Step 8: Consult with your upline leader. This step is actually an ongoing process. As you work on steps 1 through 7, it’s important to consistently check in with your upline leader to evaluate your progress, develop new strategies and goals, and make adjustments when necessary.

Step 9: Duplicate yourself by teaching the steps to your team members. Take all of the information you’ve received from your upline leader and use it to repeat these steps in your business. Once the steps have become second nature to you, it will become much easier to teach them to your team members.

Friday, May 19General Session IPresident and CEO Steve Tew welcomed attendees to Asia Convention 2017: United with a glowing “state of the company” report, a trust fall with other executives, and a new product line for South Korea—4Life™ Essential Oils. Other countries throughout Asia launched these products throughout the summer.


General Session IIKeynote speaker Choi Hyun Woo wowed the crowd with his message of how he overcame challenges and worked with passion to achieve his true purpose in life. Platinum International Diamonds Dr. Jase Khyeam and Grace Chun inspired and motivated attendees. Gold International Diamonds Mikhail Jan Jan Koh, Kim Jong Won, and Kim Seon Mi also shared their fantastic success stories.

Nearly 2,000 individuals live in Jardines del Norte, Honduras. When Foundation 4Life® representatives first visited the area in 2010, the community didn’t have access to proper sanitation or clean water. Children were malnourished and

lacked adequate schooling facilities. As a result, most children had little hope of bettering their lives. Families were searching for a chance to break out of poverty and create better opportunities for themselves and their children.

Foundation 4Life has truly built a legacy of service in Jardines del Norte, and we are ready to make our mark in new areas of the world!

Six years ago, Foundation 4Life® and Feed the Children partnered with Jardines del Norte to help the community develop self-sustainability for years to come.

• February 2011: The Foundation 4Life community center was completed, providing warm meals for children every school day, classes on self-reliance, and a new water system for cooking, cleaning, and hand-washing.

• April 2013: Bathrooms and hand-washing stations were constructed at the Marco Aurelio Soto School, and improvements were made to community hygiene, sanitation, and nutrition with the creation of a recycling program and community garden.

• April 2015: Two additional classrooms with air conditioners were built at the school, increasing the number of students who can attend.

• August 2016: A computer lab was constructed at the school to connect the community to the world and provide a place for older students to do their homework and mothers to track their home-based businesses.

With a great team effort, Feed the Children and Foundation 4Life have harnessed resources, tools, and knowledge to elevate this community to new heights over the past six years. You can be proud of the legacy of service that the 4Life® family has provided in Jardines del Norte.
